A: They probably mean the clothes washing machine, not a dishwasher.

No, It is not recommended for tiled showers because it needs a smooth surface for its suction cups to work properly. Textured tile and grout lines can prevent the suction cups from gripping. Weird smell
This bath mat has such a bad smell to it. I cannot describe it they each smell and I’ve washed them over and over before use but they still have a weird smell to them I purchased a different mat and it is made out of different material and does not have the same smell.

Cheap but uncomfortable
I bought this for the price-point, but I wish I had spent more for something that was actually comfortable. This was really unpleasant to stand on, especially if you have sensitive feet. I gave it two stars because it was inexpensive and I imagine it will be relatively easy to clean, but I wish that I hadn’t opened it and put it in my shower so that I could return it.

Save your money
Keep looking . . . Can’t get it to stick to the floor. I laid it down on a dry floor and it slid around, I then slightly moistened the floor, still no luck. Also, one end won’t lie flat from having been rolled.
