The 450-watt motor and 4-tip stainless steel blade can easily crush ice or fresh or frozen fruits for a smooth, consistent blend. The 48oz jar is made without BPA and features an easy-pour spout and generous handle for a steady pour. Lid includes a removable measuring cap for adding ingredients with precision. Removable jar and lid are dishwasher safe.

Q: Does it have a Glass jar?

A: For $30 most likely not a glass jar. specifications say: Material: Metal, Plastic so, most likely a plastic jar piece- the pictures show the jar as being quite thin and the handle looks molded.

It is advertised that you can make smoothies, but beware if you try to blend anything solid the rotator will snap off. I had this less than an hour. It is cute however!

On first use this thing sounded horrible and did not blend most of a very soft cottage cheese and pumpkin mixture. I stopped trying after a couple attempts so the unit wouldn’t blow up. I’ve cleaned it and I will put it back together and try it with just water to see what the problem could be.

Very lightweight, small compact unfortunately that does nothing for performance. It's the loudest thing I've ever heard you almost need noise canceling headphones. It would wake the dead, totally ineffective on many of the speed selections. It simply doesn't perform well. Just trying to blend up some fruit and a couple of ice cubes was miserable.
