Q: I just purchased this blender, but I cannot remove the jar nut from the jar to clean it before I use it. The manual only says to turn counter-clockwise, but it won't turn. How does it come apart?

I purchased this in January and finally early this month with the help of my boyfriend and myself, we were able to unscrew it, it was so hard. But I think it’s not meant to be unscrewed because it just started to leak real bad each use, it got worse after each use.

This blender is the worst tbh. The tool to be able to move the blend around isn’t very functional, just shoves down but does nothing. This blender constantly spills and sprays out of the bottom. Doesn’t even blend well.

horrible quality. every part of this is flimsy and poorly made. the tamper doesn't fit all the way down so it often gets stuck and will not blend without loosening it with a tool.

Bought this blender nearly a year ago. Like many others it has started to leak at the base. I registered my purchase with Gourmia but when it came time to put in a claim Gourmia decides that the issue experienced isn't covered. Blender is now useless and Gourmia wants nearly half of the purchase price to send replacement parts. Go with another brand.

I like the programmed features. It would automatically turn itself on and off. I didn’t have to keep pushing buttons. The part that fits the jar in to the base broke and the blender is less than a year old. Support didn't care that I registered for the warranty since I didn’t have the original receipt. It was $8 for a jar nut, which in the manual has a lip, but the one I received does not have the lip. I wrote back to the rep who was helping me to inform him of the problem but have not heard back from him. Target said because it was purchased more than 90 days ago they could not help me. So at this point I am out $40 and have a blender I cannot use.
