Q: Hi, When the divider is used - is the container leak proof? I mean if i put a liquid meal on one side like curry will it leak between compartments?

Great idea - size is perfect, and nice to be able to microwave it. BUT, we have the black container, and t is very worrisome to see so much of the coating peeling! Very concerned about this getting in our food. So definitely do NOT get the colored containers. I'd get this again but will only get the stainless steel.

Great idea, but the color coating peels ruining it

I love the idea, and I love the product. But the color coatings just don't hold up. If they would just make one without the colored coatings on it, it would be perfect. But all the color coatings just start bubbling up and peeling off after a couple uses. Figured I'd try the gray one thinking it didn't have the coating on it, but it does too. So now that's peeling up too. And I have to be careful not to get flakes of the coating in my food.

Food does not heat!

Brought food to work that needed to be microwaved. Put it in the microwave for a total of 4 minutes. The container was blistering hot and the food was ice cold, as if it just came out of the fridge. Had to give up and borrow a plate from a colleague to heat my food on.

The title is kinda the gist of it all. The container is great and creates an air/water-tight seal, and I really like the movable divider. The problem I have is that the pull tab on the top isn't strong enough to pull the top off the container. The first time I tried opening the lid using the pull tab, the entire tab came out, but I was thankfully able to easily get the tab back inside. So yeah, spacious container with a great lid, but poor mechanics to use the built-in pull tab to open.

Haven't even tried putting food in it yet, but already getting a really bad impression. First if all, it's extremely hard to open. Even with the little tab thing it has on the lid, i almost broke a nail trying to get it off. Also, the outside started peeling and chipping off after the first wash. Is this safe ? This will probably get into whatever food i put in it which is not good whatsoever. I was happy to find something else I can use besides glass storage, but looks like glass is the only safe thing. I wouldn't recommend buying this. I'd return this if I could, waste of money.

Love the steel and the design, but it does need a little bit of force even with the air valve pulled. Feels like i would spill contents if I put too much force. Could be easier if there was something like a handle to grip on when opening!!

This is leakproof alright. Nothing will go in or out, not even you! Impossible to open. If buying for a kid then it's a vault for their food that will open after 50 years?
