I feel the other " Mixes " have changed...Because thise USED to be realky goid. This one is NOT too sweet. And the Vookies turn out good.

Definitely changed the recipe. Not as good but doable. Butter is always better in cookies & even good if melted, you can stick the mix in the fridge to harden a bit before baking. Best thing about these mixed is you can doctor it up & I always do with extra chips & a bit of extra cocoa powder or even a spoonful of instant coffee. Trust me.

These are DELICIOUS. I've tried making these both ways, with oil and the other way with butter. I've read the reviews where some are complaining about changing the recipe to butter where originally oil was called for. I must say--the butter recipe is MUCH BETTER. The cookies have more depth, more body when butter is used.

First, mixing the softened butter into the mix is very laborious. Second, the package states makes 3 DOZEN cookies, I made tiiiny cookies and only got thirteen cookies out of this mix. Finally, as a chocolate lover, these aren't so chocolatey. The mix tastes chalky and like cocoa powder, and there are hardly any chips. Had high hopes, hopes were dashed.

What happened to this cookie mix?! This used to be the best. Now the mix is made with butter not oil and the cookies cook up differently. Taste over salty and lack good quality chocolate flavor. The biggest disappointment the chocolate chunks are half the size they were before. This used to have big delicious chunks of chocolate in a great cookie base. I bought the mix because it was better than my homemade cookies. No need to buy the mix anymore because I can make way better cookies myself.
