[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned many coffee presses over the years. The difference between a good quality press and a bad quality press, is subtle. This is a good press: Carafe - The glass is thick and durable. The carafe size is big enough to make several servings at a time. Handle - The handle is large, and comfortable. It does not absorb heat from the carafe. Plunger and filter system - The plunger is sturdy, and the filter system is effective. While the filter system is very good, as with all presses, you will get a bit of silt in the bottom of your cup of coffee, but it's quite minimal. Bottom line: This press is on par with any of the premium brands of coffee presses. Highly recommended 5 stars

I took it to work with me the same day that it arrived, because some of my other coworkers wanted to try it as well. We all agree that the 8 cup coffee press is sooooo much better than a regular coffee machine. Since we all enjoy having it at work, I went out and got another one for my house. Definitely worth it and will definitely recommend!!

I never expected using a press would add to that flavor. It does take a little extra time and effort, but on those weekend mornings that I get to enjoy a really good cup of coffee, this is my new ‘go to’. Good job Bialetti, this seems well made and is a must for coffee enthusiasts.

I don’t believe I have ever had a more luxurious cup of coffee in my life. I have had the press a couple of weeks and would say I have used it at least 10 times. I’m really happy with it and the simplicity to a PERFECT cup of coffee. Love it!

I have a full coffee pot in my detached home office but I do not always want a full pot. This is perfect to use to make two coffee cups worth of coffee and not have to deal with a whole pot. So far it is one of my favorite items in my office. I have a water cooler that also has a hot water function and it is just right with this coffee press. If you need coffee and don't want to make a full pot this is the perfect option

I find the best coffee that I make lies somewhere in between. That process is using a coffee press. I can easily control the amount of coffee I want to use (making it stronger or more mild). I can also make either make 1 cup at a time or 8 cups. But most importantly, the coffee comes out hot and fresh. I love this little pot!

I have a coffee machine with a burr grinder as well as a single serve coffee machine, so I was curious to see how this machine compared. I had never used a French press before, so I will admit I was a little intimidated to use this at first. However, after reading the included directions while I was using the press, I found that the process is actually rather easy. I was able to have a fresh cup of coffee within four minutes with this press. My coffee tasted very good and not as acidic when compared to other brewing methods. One thing that I did notice is that I had some sediment from the coffee grounds within my cup. It was not a terrible amount, but it was enough for me to notice. To try and remedy this in the future, I will try a coarser ground coffee. I used some coffee that I already had on hand, and I think it may have been too finely ground. The French press itself is gorgeous. I love the sleek design. So far, it seems like it is very well made and durable. I would recommend this French press to anyone looking to create a better cup of coffee, even if you are a beginner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 8 cup coffee press because of power outages, but also because I think French press is much better coffee. It tastes delicious, not bitter, I can decide how light or dark I want my coffee to be depending on when I plunge it. I also really love that I can use my loose leaf tea in this coffee press. It makes up to 8 cups, pours nicely from the pour spout and actually stays hot in the carafe for awhile. This is such a well made press, I like that you can separate the glass carafe from the unit so you can wash it separately, the parts to the plunger are easy to disassemble to wash and put back together. I am in love with this coffee press and find that I am using it more and more over my coffee maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a French press, but one of the main problems I have with them is that they are so fragile and easy to break. This one is different. While it is glass, it has a plastic protective cover and lid that helps the durability. This coffee press makes wonderful coffee, and the screen keeps out the majority of the grounds, also unlike other presses I've used that leave you with a mouthful of grounds. This press is lightweight and easy to clean. I have a feeling I'll be using this coffee press for years to come!
