Q: Is this dishwasher safe

A: Thank you for your question! Yes, all components of the KENYA French Press are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend rinsing out any remaining coffee grounds from the carafe and filter beforehand to prevent clogs in your dishwasher drain. Hope this helps!

Q: Is this just for hot coffee or can this be used to make cold brew?

A: Thanks for your question! The KENYA French Press is absolutely suitable for making cold brew. However, you should note that most cold brew recipes call for a higher coffee-to-water ratio. We recommend doubling the number of Bodum scoops you’d use for hot coffee - in this case, about 16 scoops of coarsely ground coffee. Because of the higher ratio, the yield of cold brew might be smaller than that of hot coffee when using the KENYA French Press. Hope this helps!

Q: Does the glass part come out of the plastic frame for washing? I bought this and used once, coffee grounds got between the glass and plastic, i can not get them out.

A: The glass beaker for the KENYA French Press is permanently integrated into the plastic frame and cannot be removed.

Arrived damaged. The plastic top had a hole in it and now the pot doesn’t seal. The coffee scoop was also broken.

It's also fairly easy to clean, no easier nor more difficult than your average french press. I hope they sell a pour over to match the french press soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I didn't understand how to use it, and after reading the instructions I knew, it is very easy to use, you put warm water in it and add the coffee, you let it rest and that's it, I really like it, the durability, the filter it has to brew the coffee and that you do not need to remove the lid to serve, the quality is good and cleaning is very simple. Preparing coffee has never been so simple

Not durable, the plastic breaks easily. Just purchased yesterday and it is broken already. Would skip this one and invest in one that’s more durable.

It inspires a good mood right away, and because it makes plenty of coffee, everyone gets to have a cup. The best part? It's easy to thoroughly clean and doesn't end up full of grounds like other brands. It's sturdy, and the measuring spoon helps us make sure we don't go through our grounds too quickly.

It works for the intended purpose, but the plastic handle/ housing feel cheap , like they won't hold up for too long under normal wear. The lid punch out for the press to slide up and down has hairline cracks running from it and I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a ring or something in the hole to prevent the damage/cracking but there isnt anything to prevent it from happening. The press part works but was bent up after the first use. I'm not impressed with this coffee press.

Size so far seems good and the price is pretty accessible. I’ve enjoyed prior bodum French presses so am excited that this one is a bit more modern looking. The pink is plastic so I’m a little wary of how it will hold up to extreme heat, but so far so good!

This is great and easy to use, can easily put it in the fridge for iced coffee. It’s very easy to clean, the price point is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
