A: The amount you use will vary depending on which machine, the cleaning mode and how much water and formula you're putting down while cleaning. This formula is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Hope this helps!

Q: What is the difference between Professional Pet Eliminator + Oxy Carpet Formula and this, Pet Stain & Odor + Antibacterial Carpet Formula?

A: Hi Ian - they use different cleaning agents for different purposes. The Pet Stain & Odor + Antibacterial Formula controls odor-causing bacteria on upholstery and carpet. The PET PRO OXY Urine Eliminator formula works to remove tough pet stains and odors like urine. It discourages pets from going in the same spot again, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually bought this before using the sample product received with my carpet cleaner. To be honest this stuff does not smell good to me, especially after shampooing and drying. Odor was from the product not mildew odor from prolonged drying which I did not have. I used this on half of house and a different Bissell sample of shampoo for the other half. Odor did go away in a few days. Probably will donate this product to a animal shelter or discard.

It didn't quite tackle stubborn stains or odors as well as other products, leaving some areas still needing extra attention. It's a decent option, but there might be better choices for a deeper clean.

I have a 15-year-old young lady that sometimes misses the pee pads or had a dementia episode and forgets where to go. It really helps with the urine smell and really deep cleans. The dirty water says it all. This and other Bissell cleaners are always my go to for tough stains and smell.

I bought this and, OH MY GOSH, I hope I don't have to throw out a rug that's only 2 months old! Hopefully a different brand will take out this smell !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is marketed for pets yet the label has numerous concerning warnings about toxicity to humans and pets and to not allow skin contact / let your pets walk on it until carpet is dry and vacuumed. The disposal warnings also leave me questioning the safety of this product. There is zero information about the 95+% of ingredients in this product. If it's so safe, there shouldn't be a problem finding what's in it or all these warnings about use/disposal. I won't be buying it again.
