Q: How quiet is this model?

A: Hi Jackie. The db is not provided by the manufacturer but I believe it would be low. Considering it's not grinding fresh coffee, I would believe it would not be more than 50db.

I am a Black and Decker customer and I am always satisfy with the quality of the products, however, this time, this is not the case with this coffee maker that I purchased to replace my older Black and Decker one. The digital screen does not light up and it is very difficult to read it. in addition to this, the word "strong" for the strong setting is located in the very upper edge of the screen so I have to bend down to be able to read it. This model does not show the water level markings from the outside, it only shows them from the inside of the water reservoir so it is very difficult to see it. For an average height person like me, I need to stand on my tip toes to see it. Outer level markings would make the process of filling the reservoir to the desired level in a faster way. I am disappointed I have to go through this experience every morning.
