Works well for the cost (fairly affordable) and gets the job done fairly well. I will say certain vegetables don’t process as well as others as it’s not the most powerful processor I’ve ever used. Still would recommend for a single person or couple!

Does everything with ease ,grades and slices easily just put in what u wanna cut up and it does it the design is sleek and black .u change out one piece in the main unit does have alot of other features I haven't played with yet but it also chops !

It is very loud but I am only using it for short periods of time so that is not a huge deal. I had a previous model of this for 30 years. It was a bit easier to put together, a little smaller, and quieter. For this price, this is a good choice.

I've had my processor going on 6 years. The plastic has not yellowed, scratched, cracked, or chipped. The base has not had any problems with speed or slowing down. I only have 2 problems with this processor. 1. There is no mixing/whipping blade you can buy for this. 2. The chopper blade base is plastic and gets cracks in it where the blade meets the plastic base. And so far, I have yet to find a new replacement chopper blade I can afford.....as it seems it's cheaper to just buy another new processor, which is ignorant. Although I love this processor, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of these two problems.

I bought this a couple of years ago and could not assemble it to work at the time. Put it away because I did not have time to deal with it (a mom of 6 who works full time). Recently tried to get it to work again and still cannot put it together to work. The chopping spindle will not go down all the way and so I cannot close the lid. I have had other food processors before that were not so difficult. Ready to throw it out/just collecting dust & wasting space. I guess I will have to buy one from a competitor.

Bought this food possessor about 4 months ago and the first thing you notice is how loud it is. It has this LOUD high pitched sound it makes every time you use it, you can't even hear anything talking next to you and after you turn it off your ears are ringing. Wish I would have never bought this brand.

Blade runs too fast for decent slicing

I bought this machine mainly to slice veggies. The blade spins like a tornado, way too fast. I tried carrots and ended up with partially shredded slices in different thickness. Not very appealing. This machine definitely needs different speed settings. If you look for a food processor to mainly chop food or to purée food, this might be a good machine for you.

I bought mine in 2011. Used it much less than I used to but it still works well. I just bought a new model that dices. Wish I could have found a dicing attachment for this one.

if you don't have a dishwasher the cup of this thing is impossible to clean. food gets stuck in the minute spaces where the slicer attaches. there is nothing small enough to stick down there and using the spray on the sink has taken up to a half hour to dislodge the food. very aggravating.

I received my FP1600B as a gift. I have used it 3 times. On the 3rd use ( on carrots ) the shaft rounded off and the metal of the shredding disc deformed. It was working great up until then.
