Iron is ok. When I looked at features what I thought was an on/off butt is just an indicator if power is on. You must turn the dial for heat setting AND this Must be done before unplugging it.

Wish I hadn't bought this iron. Once I put water in the well and completely close the cover, water leaks onto the handle. If I leave the iron down long enough to move the item, it starts to get too hot and I have to scrub the sole plate after I'm done ironing. Will never buy a other one of this brand!

I just used my new steam iron today and it seems to work well. It would be great to have the fabric types listed to accompany the settings on the dial - either in the used manual or even better on the iron. My last Black & Decker iron had that feature.

Took it right out of the box and the iron was never able to heat up. The base was also uneven and appeared broken. Water seemed to leak out from the base.

The iron performs well. However, I would have been happier if the fabric selection dial was easier to reach and there was an actual list on the iron showing which number setting corresponds to a particular type of fabric.

I purchased this iron and ironed about 5 pieces of clothing. It never seemed to get to temperature but I made due. The second time I went to use it it would not hear at all. Wish I could give it zero stars!

I've had a Black and Decker iron before and I was extremely pleased with it. The iron lasted far beyond my expections, so when it finally went out I decided to purchase the same type of iron. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I do an extremely lot of ironing so if you're looking for a great iron , Black and Decker is the iron to buy.
