Q: Is the iron Anti Calcium?

A: Hi! Rowenta irons are designed to perform with tap water. This iron includes an anti-scale setting to reduce calcium build up.

High quality iron. Has a good weight to it, lots of nice features. Heats up quickly. I don’t know how much I’ll use the retractable cord but it’s a nice option to have. I especially wanted an iron with an automatic off, and this one has it. It is LARGE so just bear that in mind, but for large ironing jobs it’s great.

The Rowenta Steam Iron is not the best quality. This iron kept setting off our fire alarm despite being used in a bedroom and the alarm being the hallway. We used another brand that unfortunately does not make an iron now for 6 years. The Rowenta did not feel like it would last 3 months.

We had a Rowenta steam iron for 10-12 years, and it finally gave up. It was made in Germany. We looked at the irons at Target, and all of them looked rather cheaply made, regardless of price. We bought the "high end" Rowenta ($59.99), and sadly it is a piece of junk. It is NOT ergonomic--heavy and awkward. The dials amd controls are placed almost as "puzzles" and it take way to long to set it up, and the weird colors make it difficult to read. The previous Rowenta was not heavy, did not leak, and the controls were bright and easy to use. The new Rowenta is coming back to Target--I'm betting one of the cheaper irons will be easier to use and probably last as long.

I purchased this iron twice from Target (Hbg Pa) the plate stays scorched and it will scorch your clothing it is extra heavy, hard to see water max line it leaks does not get hot enough. I am not buying anymore Rowentas it’s time to move on to better.

I bought this iron in December 2023, in March it stopped working. Because it's just outside the 90 day window I cannot return it. This is very frustrating. Terrible quality.

First off the iron is extremely heavy. I bought to block my crocheted items and when on steam it does leak. It is hard to read which setting the iron is on. Dissapointed considering I heard Rowenta was the best. However, most irons I looked at had 4 star reviews.. This is not any better than the sunbeam I was trying to replace.

I never had a hundred dollar steam iron before and am very disappointed in the Rowenda I brought about six months ago. It is hard to fill the iron with water without spilling water on the iron. You can not see the water level of the water. What a stupid design mistake. The other major problem is that you can't see the settings. This is an important thing to know. This iron gets hot, hot and I find it crinkles up some fabrics because it is that hot. In order to get steam you have to turn the temperature up very high. If I turn it down a little I get no steam. Lastly, it is heavy.
