I bought it some weeks ago as refurbished. It had only a view scratches on the lid and was perfectly fine and clean else. It's working great. I made a number of smoothies with it so far and it's a pleasure to use and clean it.

Did a lot of researching before deciding on Blentec. After all it really is an investment. Wonderful! The presets make it so easy. I absolutely love that It can blend and heat my soups at the same time. Has no problem with nuts and frozen fruits and veggies. Great texture.

Great blender. We own a direct competitor's, and the Blendtec is vastly superior over that one for crushing ice and making thick smoothies shakes or iced drinks.

Bought my Blendtec about a month ago and it has surpassed my expectations AFTER I realized it needs to plug DIRECTLY into the wall. I had a high quality surge protector with reset switch that kept tripping. Now I am blending like a madman with spinach smoothies, soups, healthy dessert smoothies and I look forward to grinding my own flour! Its a lifechanger and I have lost over 20 pounds and my Blendtec makes it FUN! Expensive you say? How many $10 smoothies can I make in ten years? I am averaging 2 a week for two people. 4 X 52 = 208 (smoothies per year) times 8 years is 1664 X 10 is $16640 And I make sure no cheap fillers are added! The unit looks sleek and modern and lights up like an iphone it really is worth every penny and I can't wait to use my Blend Friend again! It gives positive affirmations like "This will be delicious" and even Ta-Da! after a cleaning cycle. I considered every brand chose Blendtec. I considered every model and chose the Designer 725 because its top of the line and WORKS like it!

I have had my blendtech blender for 10+ years and the jar seal finally went on it. I have been wanting an updated blender for a while and I decided to go for the refurbished model. Awesome!!! I use the juice and smoothie buttons mostly, super convenient. I have made everything including soups and salsa. This baby has an impressive motor that seemingly purrs, and the Wildside jar has been great. Super happy with this blender!!!

I have found a blender that can handle the a lot! Love the smoothie setting and I no longer have to feel guilty when it comes to juicing. Before I would bring out the juicer and juice my veggies while missing out on most of the fiber. With the whole juice blend, I no longer have to feel like I am missing out on fiber and vitamins. I have had many blenders and was tired of incomplete blends and having to replace blenders every year or two. Made the decision to buy a blendtec after carefully researching the different brands. Decided on a Blendtec and am glad I did

I've had it for a month and am in love. 1st and formost it has a big container, 2nd the extra containers are the best especially the smallest one, it lets me prepare on the fly recipes like salsas, a quick garli mash, its just fantastic... I do have a Vitimix and it is very good as well but no extra jars. Expecially a small one to do all the small things. The only thing with the Blendtec that I have aproblem with are the lids. For the small one if I do any grinding like oatmeal into powder the powder seeps out from the lid, no biggie bit gets a lil messy. Other than that I've experienced only good things. ANd I'm in love....Love my Vitamix but Blendtec for me works divine....

Touch interface is extremely easy to use, first time you power it on it guides you through a tutorial, too; I find it intuitive and I prefer it to pushing buttons. I like the no-buttons design. I used it so far only for smoothies, and I'm perfectly happy with the results. It can be easily cleaned by rinsing with water (the cutting blade is dull, no fear of cutting by putting the hand in it, my wife is happy with this aspect) or by running through dedicated cleaning cycle. It's noisy if you use it to crush ice, otherwise noise level seem comparable to me with previous blender. I like the pre-programmed cycles, the more the merrier. The only con is the price, at 680 it's on the expensive side; I got it refurbished and it had minor scuffs on the black touch interface, but for 150$ discount I can live with them. The stainless steel model, matches the other appliances.

Makes very smooth smoothies out of pretty well anything...and it looks great! One con would be; I put too much water in it once in wash mode and it blasted bubble water out the top even with me holding the lid down...it then threw an error code and I couldn't use it for like 24 hours after that even by unplugging it and back in...wierd...

So far we love our new blendtec! We purchased a refurbished one and it came packaged looking brand new and functions just as it looks! I love how well it blends things together and crushes up ice for smoothies so there are not ice chunks! It's awesome! Can't wait to try more things!

I just love this blender! I'm so glad I decided to buy the 725. It does a tremendous job with everything and anything you put into the jar.

I bought this product a little over a month ago. I was a little intimidated by the price, but not anymore! I have used it almost everyday for juices and smoothies and it has not disappointed!

Really great blender, makes fantastic job. But the noise's a little bit louder than I expected. Also the twisted jar flew out once. Otherwise a great blender.

Always used the vitamix and needed an upgrade after much research I decided on the Blendtec and I am happy I did

Lids do not seal completely and the center part of the lid more for stopping splashes from going into the room. Containers are useful for making things less than the half the size of the container, so you don't blend drinks for more than two people at a time. Otherwise, all the great things people have said about this blender are true. My wife is losing her sense of humor about the encouraging messages that come up after blending when what she was running was the wash cycle. "I should tweet THAT recipe?!" She is VERY satisfied with how well this blender handles the THICK frozen smoothies she makes. Sometimes she has to start them with the frozen treat setting and then run them with the smoothie program. Flat touch screen makes base oh so easy to clean.
