Protect little faces on the go with Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Stick. This broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 50 protection glides on easily, rubs in clear, and dries smooth, not sticky. Maximum water resistance (80 minutes) means more fun in the sun. Made with skin-nourishing botanicals, this formula helps nourish your little one’s skin. Throw it into your bag, backpack, or pocket for on-the-go broad-spectrum protection. This sunscreen stick is formulated with mineral active ingredients. It is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and free from potentially harsh chemical sunscreen active ingredients that might irritate sensitive skin. Pocket-sized and TSA-friendly, this is the perfect travel companion to our sunscreen lotions. How to Use: Apply liberally to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. For topical use only. Keep out of reach of children. For children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. This really doesn’t work well. Despite the fact that it leaves a very heavy, sticky, white cast, it doesn’t offer good long lasting sun protection. Both of my kids got quite sunburned with this, even with consistent reapplication. I used a different brand, non mineral sunscreen of only spf 30 and did not get burned.

It has no smell at all. Kids would definitely appreciate the stick. They don't like holding their breath for a spray. I swiped a small square on my chest. I got in the sun and water for 3 hours. It worked very well all afternoon. One application.

A mineral sunscreen with UVA/UVB protection board spectrum of SPF 50, it's water resistant up to 80 minutes and also trusted by pediatricians. It's made with skin nourishing, botanicals, is a vegan formula, won't clog pores and is free from paraffin & fragrances. If I had to critique on one thing, it would be it's too small. I need a bigger size. Will definitely be adding it to my shopping list!

I love the fact that it’s mineral-based, fragrance-free, and gentle on skin. It holds well during water play and doesn’t cause any irritation, which gives me peace of mind. The con? It definitely leaves a white cast, especially on medium to darker skin tones. It takes a bit of effort to rub it in completely, and then, there’s still a chalky cast. But honestly I would much rather deal with this than risk a sunburn, increase our chances for melanoma or putting harmful chemicals on her skin.
