Q: Does it work by filtering between rooms even with the doors closed?

A: Thank you for your interest in Blueair. It's most efficient to run the air purifier with the door closed, as it can cleanse the air more effectively. However, with the door open, it will still clean the air but can take longer since new air is always being reintroduced through the open door.

ENT recommended air purifier to help with allergies. I will admit I was skeptical but after a few days of using my allergies are great. This did not include taking any medications. The 211i is quiet. The app is a nice tool to use. Easy to unbox and put into place.

I love being able to control it from another room. The night mode is a great plus to keep the light low while falling asleep/sleeping. I like that I can see the air quality and that it tells you how much of the filter life is left in the app!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After incorporating this air purifier into my home, I've experienced a significant improvement in air quality, especially in our bedroom. I could tell after a few minutes that the air smelled different, cleaner. The build quality is impressive. It’s sturdy, yet lightweight so it’s easy to move if needed. I live in a house with multiple cats and dogs and I have a minor pet and dust allergy so purification is a must. I’ve definitely noticed a reduction in itchy eyes and sneezing with this in the house. It effectively captures those allergens, making our home environment much more comfortable. I have it set to auto and with air it keeps it on the lowest level which is extremely quiet. If you need to crank it up to the highest level there is definitely a noticeable humming noise, but we haven’t needed it up that high so far. The automatic air setting seems to keep it very energy efficient because without the information in the app I would probably keep it on the highest setting and it doesn’t seem to be necessary. The design is pretty modern and neutral. I really like that you can change the color of the pre-filter if you want. I also love that it’s machine washable which makes cleaning it a breeze. The app is a huge upgrade from my old air purifier. It provides so much information and I love it. You can see the current air quality and if it changes, which is amazing. We keep it in our bedroom so it doesn’t change much but I’m sure if I put it in the living room (which is next to our kitchen) it would probably change when we cook. Being able to control it through the app is another great feature. I had a tendency to forget to turn the lights off on my old one before laying in bed so it’s great now that I can do it with the app. There’s also a child-lock to prevent kids from changing the settings. One of my favorite features is the filter level percentage. I’m so bad at keeping track of replacing filters and this helps a ton. Overall, I am slightly obsessed. I definitely want to purchase more for other rooms in my house.

I love that I can dim the lights and lower fan speed if needed to avoid any disturbance. I also love that it produces minimal noise even at higher fan speeds! This air purifier has a real-time pollution level feature which gives me a clear picture of the air quality and lets me track improvements. Another great thing about this purifier is that I can control the unit remotely through the app, whicu is incredibly convenient for adjusting settings.

One of my favorite aspects of it is that the filter only needs to be changed every 6-9 months. I also love that it turns on automatically when it senses changes in the air. For example, when I am cooking in the kitchen on the stove, it will just turn on it. It is nearly silent, but incredibly powerful. I also love the look of it, and that the slipcovers can be changed colors. I highly recommend the 211i Max by Blueaire

I live in a two-story house that is 1200 ft², so I think this unit is a little larger than the space I have but it has been working amazing. I love the auto mode so you don't need to adjust it everyday. It connects to Wi-Fi which is super convenient to run programs. It's very quiet and has a night time mode that dims the lights and make sure the fan is almost silent. Overall I have really enjoyed this product.

It is so quiet. Sometimes we can’t even tell if it’s on. Also in the app you can tell how much life your filter has left. I suffer from allergies and sinus infections so having an air purifier at home and being able to tell on the app how clean our air is, it’s definitely a game changer! I am extremely happy with this air purifier and will recommend it to everyone in search of one!

It's large enough for my bedroom, however I placed it in the living room area because I work from home 100% of the time. With allergies being horrible during this time of the year in Houston, this is essential for working from home as comfortable as possible and having itchy eyes, and throat and bloody nose. I'm glad that I am able to operate it from my phone through the app. I was able to set up my purifier and when I plugged it up, it was so quiet even at the lowest setting. Nightly, I placed it on a nighttime setting, and I can barely hear it. I have been able to sleep comfortably in my bedroom with no problems because I have another brand in there however, with the addition of this larger one to fit my living room area as well as my workspace, I don't have this sinus headaches or anything for that matter and it's able to be more comfortable with working and not having any effects due to allergies.. I may invest in another one in the future for my grandson as well as my daughter and son-in-law.

You can barely hear it running, which I love since I work from home and can’t deal with background noise. The air feels noticeably cleaner, especially in the mornings—I used to wake up stuffy, and now I don’t. Huge win. One thing I really appreciate is how smart it is—it auto-adjusts based on air quality, and I can check everything from my phone. It even shows PM levels, which I never thought I’d care about, but now I’m low-key obsessed with watching them drop after cooking or cleaning. Design-wise, it’s pretty sleek, and the colored pre-filter is actually cute—it blends in well with my space. It’s very lightweight and the noise isn’t too bad! I personally like the white noise it makes but you can put it on a lower fan setting to not hear it as much!

This purifier is are made exquisitely, its not only smart but it monitors every aspect of the air quality using an app on your phone. I appreciated the directions on how to unbox my air purifier safely. The air purifier design is beautiful. I love how you can buy a different color cover to truly match your home. Set up was a breeze. I just needed to download an app and pair the device. Being able to see the specs and be able to control the device from my phone was such a nice experience. You can see the results immediately. The air purifier is quiet, even at max setting. I got clean air in a huge space in record time. I genuinely and highly recommend.
