We understand your concerns regarding the fan noise coming out from your Airmega. For typical reason why our fan has minor wobbling is to prevent its damage or imbalance and to adjust its balance and stability for the fan's adjustments. So we are making the fan axle not tightened and have some minor wobbling to prevent damage to the fans. As time goes on, the sound issue will go about a few days or a couple of weeks at low speed because it needs some time to adjust its axle's balance. Later the sound will gone as time goes by. FYI, usually, the sound will occur when the Air purifier is relocated to a different location or the surface is slightly uneven. Hello, thank you for your comment. If you just got the new filter, the filter is manufactured by processing various polymer materials (PP, PET, PE, etc.), so odors like new clothes may occur. These odors are difficult for ordinary people, but some odor-sensitive people can recognize them. If the odor issue had happened after a short period of time, very strong odors that get trapped or imprinted in the filters might have caused the odor issue. Please know that all of our Airmega's HEPA Filters have Anti-bacterial substances to kill bacteria and viruses to protect our customers from outside air containing harmful materials. So the Anti-bacterial substances in the HEPA filter are not harmful at all, and they got approved to be used within the U.S. regulations. You may also check if you have recently cleaned the Airmega before exchanging the filter. Please check on your Pre-Filter if the odor is embedded into it. If you have cleansed the Pre-Filter with water, then you might as well need to check the Pre-Filter for odor and smell, for it could have been used while the Pre-Filter is not completely dried. Wet Pre-Filter could have caused the issue with the odor and smell. The best way to clean the Pre-Filter with water is to dry the Pre-Filter outside or have direct sunlight to dry off the Pre-Filter completely. If you have used the Airmega around the places that have a strong odor and smell, such as the basement or kitchen, before inserting a new filter, it would be best to move your Airmega to a place where no or fewer odors are around. And take out all the Pre and HEPA Filters from your Airmega and run the unit without any filters for more than 1 hour to remove the odor and smell embedded in your Airmega. The specific smell that can be perceived varies depending on the person. Therefore, it is impossible to define the exact moment when the odor occurs accurately. Still, the concentration of odor-causing substances decreases significantly within a short time when the air purifier has operated.
