A: It is very quiet. When it’s on the auto setting, I cannot hear it at all. If I turn up the fan to level 2 or 3 then it is noticeable but just sounds like a small fan.

A: Thank you for your interest in Blueair! If you choose not to connect your 311i Max to the app, you can turn off the WiFi by long pressing the Fan Speed button for 5 seconds and then releasing it. The WiFi LED will stop blinking, indicating that the WiFi function is turned off.

I have not noticed a real difference in the air quality like less dust but I have noticed fewer odors like cooked food that lingers and it seems to help with my seasonal allergies as I’m sneezing less. The design is sleek and minimalist. I appreciate how quiet it is, even on higher settings. It’s a perfect addition to my home office where I spend 8+ hours a day that you almost forget it’s there. The smart features are a great! I can control it from my phone, check air quality levels, and adjust settings without getting up. Filter changes are simple and hassle-free, and the auto mode does a great job of adjusting fan speed based on air quality. It feels like it’s working hard behind the scenes without any extra effort on my part. So far I would recommend the Blueair 311i to anyone looking for a reliable, quiet, and efficient air purifier.

You can change the brightness, there is a child lock, and there is an app that you can use for all of the settings. You can also buy a different fabric filter for the outside that comes in different colors. However, I do like the gray color that it came with. Filters are expensive, but the system lets you know when you need to buy a new one. A light on the machine will turn red.

This was gifted in exchange for an honest review. The thing I love most about this is that it calculates your air quality and the light changes colors based off of that. Then, it purifies the air in the room and eventually goes back to blue, which means the air quality is at its best. When I make bacon or cook something smokey, before I had this, our smoke detectors would go off. Now I just turn this on while I cook and it takes care of the smokey air without that alarm ever going off. The app is very convenient as well. It also has been helpful with our allergies. I would definitely buy more of these in the future! The only negative is that it is kind of large and my children think it is the greatest toy of all time. But it seems to withstand their playing pretty well!

It is quiet and the app is super easy to work with. This is definitely worth the price. I am using this for my daughter’s nursery and they even have a pink sleeve to replace the gray if I want! It’s nice to have an extra if I want to wash one of the sleeves. HIGHLY recommend!

As someone who suffers severely from seasonal allergies, I've always been skeptical about air purifiers living up to their hype. But this sleek machine delivers. It effortlessly removes 99% of pollutants like dust, pollen, and smoke from the air, leaving my space feeling fresher and cleaner. The quiet operation is a bonus - I barely notice it's on! Maintenance is also a breeze with washable pre-filters. What really impressed me, though, was the air quality sensor - genius! I can monitor our home's air quality via the app, and it's been eye-opening. I placed the purifier in our kitchen/dining area, near the family room and back door. While having the door open, using the screen door, I checked the app and was shocked: PM2.5 levels spiked from a normal 22 to an alarming 80+! Once the door closed, levels quickly dropped back into the safe green zone - proof it's working magic! Another unexpected perk: this purifier creates a constant, gentle ambient airflow - like a soft, clean, cool breeze circulating throughout the room.
