Q: The velcro came off my mop head and I can't attach the cleaning pads any longer. I tried replacing with another velcro strip but it won't adhere properly. Do I need to buy a new mop?

A: Typo on answer 4 lbs (not 41bs). Also need to consider weight of cleaning solution liquid. Encourage users to partially refill to reduce weight.

Great clean, gets under hard to reach places, good cleaning formula. But this is the second Bona I have owned and both have broken in the exact same way. The swivel joint on the mop head is just too fragile.

LOVE! I have laminate flooring downstairs which is where my kids and Boykin spaniel love to play. Throw in a blue collar husband and the floor is a mess very quickly. I have a shark vacuum mop but it’s a hassle to assemble and clean. I wanted something quick for everyday cleaning and this is it!! I was able to mop my entire downstairs in 5 minutes (1,000+sqft). I didn’t notice a scent to the cleaner, but my floor cleaned so easily. In 10 minutes I was able to assemble, mop, start the pad in the wash, and put the mop up. I am in LOVE with this thing. The only issue I had was with the height. I’m 5’6” and it was a little short for my liking. Ignore the negative reviews and get this thing!

My mop broke so I went to Target to get a new one. Even though they're pricey, I decided to spring for a Bona Hardwood Spray Mop. This thing is the worst! I had some spots on my floor that I kept spraying and scrubbing & the Bona did not get rid of them. I pulled out my old broken mop, sprayed some cleaner on the floor and the spots were cleaned in seconds. Also, the mop is bowed at the front, right where you need it to be flat so you can clean the edges of your floor. As it is, you have to turn it around to the flat edge side. Not catastrophic, just annoying. This mop is being returned to Target tomorrow.

This redesigned mop stinks. The cleaner fluid reservoir is hard to get in and out. The top of the reservoir got stuck and I had cleaner everywhere. Threw out this piece of junk.

The trigger started sticking within a month of purchasing this mop. Regardless of this, the bottle is absolute trash if you like to wet your floor thoroughly before mopping as it doesn't have a little air release hole. Because of this it creates a vacuum and the bottle collapses making it difficult to remove the cap after for refill. Moping now takes me forever because I can't spray at lightning speed. I regret switching from my O cedar...
