The product description stated that it had a one-year warranty. Since one part of the headphones was not working, I wanted to exchange them. Bose informed me that they could not assist with products purchased from third parties and advised me to exchange them at Target. I called Target customer service, and they told me to visit any Target store. I traveled two hours to the North Bergen store. An arrogant employee kept insisting that I should have paid $45 for a protection plan. I pointed out that the description stated a 1-year limited warranty. She said it was a mistake and called it ridiculous. I asked for a manager, and they also insisted that Target never offers warranties. They repeatedly said, "We only accept Dyson," and even said, "I've worked at Target for 13 years and have never heard of something this stupid," while scolding me. Always buy electronics directly from the manufacturer!

Perfect when it goes to design and fit, but it is all about it. When it goes to sound: - Compared sound with Pixel Buds Pro - sound I hear on my end is obviously lower on Bose earbuds when it is set to max on my phone - Noise cancelling for listener. I was verifying it with running dispenser on my catching and staying on the same spot. It is good on Bose, almost like on Pixel Buds Pro, but not as good - Noise cancelling for the other party on a call. I was verifying it with running kitchen sink disposer and staying on the same spot. I can hear disposer relatively well comparing to Pixel Buds, but cancellation is still good. Pixel Buds sometimes slightly cancelling my speech together with noise, Bose let's speech go better but noise is there much higher. Overall feeling is that Pixel Buds is much more friendly for counterparty of voice call in noisy environments Generally, expectation from Bose is higher than from Google, but results are behind.

I bought these about a month and a half ago, and I'm very disappointed in the volume they are not very loud, and the updates are lacking,also a 3 band equalizer is not good for the amount I paid for them, give me more customization.

These earbuds aren't worth it. The noise cancelling is good but the touch controls are way too sensitive and can't be turned off. I'd adjust my earbud and it'd pause, I'd wear a hoodie and if it touched the inside of the hood it'd pause. I own AirPods as well and AirPods let you turn off the touch controls so I'm not sure why Bose doesn't offer that as well. My final straw was when it rained and they got a little wet (I feel like rain though shouldn't be enough to damage them?) and the right earbud started making the worst screeching noise ever. It would come out of nowhere, too. I ended up throwing them away because I wasn't using them anymore from the annoying screeching to the obnoxious touch controls, etc. Buy AirPods. The noise cancelling isn't as good on AirPods but it's still good.

Never owned the new Technics or the Sony earbuds, or the much talked about Apples, but have several, including Samsung, JBL, PLT, Cambridge, Jabra, Motorola, Creative Aurvana, and several lesser brands. I have a pair of JBL I'm keeping but the rest going out the door. The Bose QC Ultras, all I can say is WOW! I own Bose Champion 3 and 5 plus a Bluetooth speaker. Waste of my time to even have tried the other earbuds.

I bought these ear buds because I was looking for a product with great sound quality and a decent microphone for business calls. These has not disappointed from that perspective. However, when it comes to adjusting these ear buds while wearing, I find them to be overly sensitive. They often come loose during work outs and when I try to readjust them, the tap and slide co trims are so sensitive that they often stop my music, skip a song when I don’t want it skipped, return to the start of the song, etc. would be great to have something g a little more work out friendly. I am also disappointed with battery life of both the case and the headsets. I went 3 days without charging the case, and even though the earbuds were properly inserted, both fully lost charge. Also, other cheaper and inferior earbuds offer up to 10 hours of listening before the batteries die. These are relatively short at only 3 to 4 hours before a charge is needed.

Love Bose hardware. I use to work at a stereo store in the mid 70's (when they were popular) and owned a pair of 901's. I was hooked. I also have the Ultra open ear, the max Bluetooth speaker and the Ultra QC headphones. All are fantastic.

Noise cancellation is top notch but i might go back to a headset with a mic that loops around near the mouth. the sound for the recipient is horrible and I've been told it sounds like there are "pots and pans being banged in the background", the sound for them is echoey, tinny, and loud overall, very hard to hear. For $300, you'd think there would be better tech to allow the recipient to hear the caller. If you are just interested in the noise cancellation function though, again top notch. I spend a lot of time for work on the phone and these won't work for me.

I work in the trades and do a lot of twisting and turnning on my side and even upside down in crawlspaces. All of the brands i have tried in the past tend to fall out. These have yet to fall out. I will say, these do not have the ability to lower the volume down far enough, and when down all the way there us an annoying white noise like when there is no song paying on any radio and the volume is turned all the way up.

What you are hearing is the noise floor, something which is present in all speakers. The reason you are hearing it when you have no audio playing is because the active noise cancellation is working well!
