Brass Double-Shaded Table Lamp - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

Wanted to love this lamp but the version I got was packed poorly, the right and left lamp arms were at different heights, there were multiple bends in the metal base, paint/coating smudges, and the on/off knob was left of center! Cannot pay $70 for that level of problem. Will try reordering and seeing if I got a bad item or if they're all this poor.

I think that this brass finish double-headed table lamp makes a real statement in my living room, and it would add a touch of luxury to any room in which it was situated. I find it particularly useful that I can decide which light setting I want (it has a three-way light setting) by using the knob on the front of the base. Light bulbs are not included, but these were relatively easy to source at my local hardware store. The shades are bowl-like in appearance, and they are what give the lamp its vintage look along with the brass finish. I love it!

I think this is a good quality lamp. It's made well, and feels super sturdy and solid. It's not the kind of lamp that will easily get knocked over. It has varying degrees of light with the 3 way switch. I do wish the sockets were made in a way to rotate them, as I don't particularly like the both bulbs facing inward, I feel like turning them a bit would make the light disperse better. Also, please note that this needs the narrower, candelabra based lightbulb, not a standard household bulb. Although that information is now in the specs on the sale page, it was not originally there when I chose the lamp. I would not have chosen it knowing I had to go purchase special bulbs. If you don't mind needing special sized bulbs, it does look nice and I think the design would go nicely with most home styles.
