Q: Can you keep the radio plugged in all the time? Or only enough to charge it? It'll be stationary, so I'd love to be able to just keep it plugged in.

Q: Does Bluetooth connect to my phone to listen to a streaming service like Spotify (not just radio)?

The Bluetooth setting on our elegant Hearth & Hand Portable Brass Radio functions as a speaker for your Bluetooth connected device. Meaning that you can listen to Spotify, a show streaming on your phone, or music streaming on your phone through the Brass Radio speaker when connected. Once your phone is connected via Bluetooth to the Brass Radio any sound that would come from your phone will now come through the Brass Radio speaker. Q: Can I listen with Bluetooth earbuds or does it only play out loud?

This is a Bluetooth speaker only, so in Bluetooth Mode this Portable Brass Radio can connect to devices to play sound, but you cannot connect other speakers to it to listen to the AUX or AM/FM Mode. This looks really cute on the dresser and is lightweight and easy to carry around. The sound is clear and loud. I live in a rural area and definitely have to adjust the antenna for certain radio stations to come in clearly, but that is normal for AM/FM radio stations. The Bluetooth mode works great, but my phone does have to be turned all the way up after I connect in order to get the loudest available volume out of the speaker. Overall a great product and I would recommend it!

This radio/speaker is so cute! I like that is has multiple functions like bluetooth and an auxiliary option (cord included) which will be perfect for summer outdoor hangs. It runs on a charge which lasts fairly long and the device automatically turns off after a few minutes of disconnecting from bluetooth. I was also able to connect to my favorite radio station (WXPN!) which was a fun bonus!

Great Bluetooth radio. The sound quality is quite good. Love the brass finish. Do concern on the sound volume. But when you turn up volume on both radio and phone, the sound is big enough. Beyond expectations. Love it.

If you find that the radio AM/FM volume seems much louder than the volume you get when you play music via Bluetooth, then it is likely that the volume on your device that you are sending the music through is turned down. The volume on your device may be turned all the way up, but then when you Bluetooth connect it to the radio it can auto adjust to a lower volume setting. We suggest connecting the radio to your device via Bluetooth, then adjusting the volume on your device all the way up, and then using the radio volume knob to adjust the volume. This should get you the maximum volume output available. If you still find the volume to be significantly quieter when listening to Bluetooth versus the AM/FM radio then we would suggest exchanging the product as it may be defective. This radio operates much more like a toy than a real appliance. It is very light weight, charges quickly, and holds a charge for quite a while. However, the sound quality is below average. The volume control has low and quickly shifts to loud with not a lot in between. Even if you have the volume on low the "power on" and "bluetooth mode" dialogue that plays is very loud.

This is a lovely portable Bluetooth radio. It has Am and PM with the option to plug it into an outlet or charge it ane listen. The sound quality is clear and crisp. Its a good size and will look nice sitting on my work desk.

This was a gift and I was disappointed that it worked for one day. There is no way to know if it’s on or not (no lit power button). The Bluetooth would randomly start playing throughout the day. The volume is not loud enough. There is feedback in the radio setting. This is very overpriced and not worth $50. Don’t buy this.

The Hearth and Hand portable brass Bluetooth radio has a retro design and neutral finish. It connected easily to my Iphone’s Bluetooth, and I was able to stream from another device by connecting to it with the included aux cable. The radio is rechargeable so you won’t need to worry about placing it near an outlet or constantly replacing batteries.
