Q: Is this compatible for hard water?

A: We're happy to answer that, Yesi. While our Hub filters do work well to reduce chlorine, lead, mercury, benzene, and particulates from municipally treated tap water, hard water can contain different contaminants, such as calcium and magnesium carbonates, that won't be reduced. Q: How much noise does it make when dispensing water?

A: We appreciate you asking about this. During the initial flush, it is normal to have louder than normal sounds coming from our Hub System and will be slightly louder than a single-serve coffee maker. We recommend you continue to press the manual dispense button to purge all of the air out of the system. These sounds shouldn't be present after the initial flush if everything is working properly. It took many tries to get it to recognize the filter, to recognize the water pitcher was full, and to get the water to dispense. Once set up, it worked fine. The water tastes good and is easy to dispense. It has 3 pour options - 2 automatic and 1 manual. It is also easy to clean. It is a little noisier than I expected, but only while it is dispensing the water. It has a "full" line on one side of the pitcher, but I wish it had additional measurements so I could select the amount I need to fill. The water is "tap" water cold or room temperature depending on how long the water sits. Many of my friends like it that way or add ice, but, personally, I prefer "refrigerator" cold (without ice).

The water does come out fast so watch out for the splash. I put it in my office, but you can put it anywhere if you have enough table space. The container holds quite a bit of water, which lasts a long time. The design is sleek and contemporary, blends well with anything around it. The buttons on top are easy to read and operate. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends but with caution.

I even followed the directions to move the water reservoir from the side to the back to free up counter space. It does not take up a lot of space on the countertop . The Brita system dispenses fresh tasting water. My only issue is that it is quite loud when operating. It is very easy to use the button to dispense. I enjoy having fresh water on demand.

The filter was a lot easier to start up than other water filter products I've tried in the past. That's a plus! Once that was done, it has been a great addition to my home. The sleek and modern design fits into my kitchen perfectly. I love the ability of keeping the water tank to the side or placing it behind the machine. It caters to any kitchen space. The water tank holds an amazing amount of water. I'm really impressed. It gives the option of dispensing 12 oz,20 oz,or you can just hold the middle button so you can put any amount of water you want at the moment. I think that's great and my 5 year old even loves helping to get her water. She's actually been drinking more water willingly because of it. That makes me very happy. I love how there's a visible light indicator that tells you when it's time to change the filter. There's no guess work to using this. It's really a great machine and the water tastes great. I'd love to see a water chill option in the future but definitely don't mind using ice for the time being. My family loves their water and we have Brita to thank. I definitely recommend

Simply wash all parts before initial use, install the water filter, and fill the reservoir. The pre-set 12oz and 20oz buttons are convenient as well as the manual fill button to ensure you can fill smaller or larger containers with ease. The system also takes up minimal counter space. The filter is supposed to last 6 months or 120 gallons. It has a filter status light to show when it needs to be replaced. It does not cool water as it is provided at room temperature. You can either pre-fill a container and refrigerate or a use trick that I have tried if you like your water cold... add some ice to the reservoir. I'm very pleased with this water filtration system.

Our water in my city is not good to drink and therefore I waste so much money on plastic bottles of water. That is a thing of the past!! The Brita Hub is not only compact so it doesn’t take up my space but I am able to have yummy filtered water in seconds!! The side panel pops off easily to change the filter and the filter is easy to install. There are lights on the panel so you can see what is going on. There are choices of 12 oz and 20 oz to fill your glass. My bigger commuter cup fits perfectly under the spout. It is a little on the loud side which would be my only complaint. The water comes out crystal clear and it tastes good and fresh, far from the tap water!! I highly recommend the Brita Hub!! No more expensive cases of bottled water!

It has a modern/sleek appearance that fits well onto a countertop with a capacity of 96oz. One feature I love is the handle included in the water reservoir. It makes it very easy to refill without dropping or spilling, and with it being located under the lid, it's not outerwardly visible. The variety of dispensing buttons is a nice touch as well - 12oz, 20oz and a manual dispense. I will note the color was different than the picture suggested with silver on the front and the main body plastics being white.

I like the that I have the option of 12oz and 20oz options and set up was quick and simple. I like my water room temperature so you will need for ice cubes if you like it cold.

It takes up very little room on my countertop and delivers cool crystal-clear water. I love the removable 9 Cup water reservoir and the fact that the carbon filter lasts for six months. My advice is to read the instructions before setting up. I didn’t, and ended up with less than desirable water quality on my first go-around.

The Brita Hub is right next to our coffee maker and for easy filling of personal water bottles is so convenient. Plus, the 120 gallons per filter really makes it efficient and cost-effective compared to hauling 5-gallon bottles. It’s such a relief to not deal with the bad taste and mineral deposits on cookware! Filtering out those impurities definitely helps with both the flavor of the coffee and keeping kitchenware in better shape.

It became evident very quickly that we were going to have to have some sort of water solution upstairs with the bedroom floor. Our kids keep a water bottle in their room at night, we need water for humidifiers and diffusers and such, etc. this works out perfectly! We can have clean, filtered water upstairs and not have to run back-and-forth to the kitchen downstairs. We have set up a water station in the bonus room upstairs where we have our Britta filter machine and our ice machine. This way, anytime anyone needs water for anything, they can go to the bonus room and get it and it saves us steps back-and-forth downstairs. The filter was easy to set up. It’s easy to fill with water to be filtered and getting the filtered water out, so much so that even my four-year-old can do it. We are looking forward to making good use of this device in our house!

I like that the filter lasts for 6 months. It has an automatic 12 oz cup button and a 24 oz automatic button or the water can be dispensed manually with the hold of a button. Easy to use and set up. It will let you know when the water needs to be refilled and when the filter needs to be changed. This is a great water filter unit.

I like that it has a large capacity tank and the option to manually dispense water or the 12 and 20 ounce press-to-dispense option. It was super easy and straightforward to set up and you just plug it in and it’s ready to go. I like having it at home and it’s a good alternative to tap water. Overall it’s simple to use and I think it does a good job with the filtration.

We have had filtered water pitchers before but they take up so much room in the fridge. We found this system. It looks nice on the counter. It filters water well. One refill is good for the family for the day. We put it by the coffee pot to get filtered water for coffee. Even the dog now insists on getting her water from the filter.
