I adore the sleek design of this coffee maker; it fits my kitchen perfectly! It's such a shame that the 'c' from the 'cafe' logo fell off. Now, it looks incomplete, and I can't find a matching sticker anywhere

Thanks for sharing your review. We are so glad that you are loving your new coffee maker, you've made an amazing choice by going with this model. We're sorry about the letter falling off from the logo. We don't have replacement stickers available. Grind and Brew coffee pot - 21 days ago

It worked for the first 2 pots of coffee, then (like many others have mentioned), the grinder stopped working. Also the door that holds the coffee filter does not stay closed. We had to tape it closed to use it. On the bright side, it makes the best cup of coffee ever. I expect they will have a factory recall since so many have experienced the same. Our kitchen is 100% cafe.... but for now, we will use the Cuisinart Brew and Grind.

We bought this coffee machine in December. As of March, it no longer brews. It keeps saying “add water” even though the water tank is full. We tried descaling about a month ago when this first happened (after about 2 months of use). This helped for a couple weeks, but now we’re back to having no coffee in the morning. This is the first more expensive pot I’ve gotten, very disappointed.

Purchased to replace a Keurig (brown water coffee)and it's awesome. I ca brew 1-10 cups from freshly ground coffee. Love it. Didn't tighten the filter on the first use so the reservoir leaked but that was my fault.

After following the instructions provided by the manufacturer our water reservoir leaked. I removed the reservoir and tightened the filter a bit more and the leak stopped. Nice counter top appliance. Happy with the looks or this coffee maker
Love it!

I have had my Mochamaster for 21 years and have never had to repair or replace it. I purchased the Cafe because it looked nice, had a bean grinder, and people liked the flavor of the coffee. In 6 months of ownership, it has already been replaced by GE once, and I have gone through 3 carafes because of leaks and finish issues. I would not recommend this machine. I tried to add images, but the website would not allow it.

I liked this coffee maker in the beginning, but after 6ish months it started grinding significantly less coffee each time and making very watered down/weak coffee. All settings were right, something wrong with the product.

We want to help out with your coffee maker not grinding properly. We recommend checking to see if the grinder chute is clogged. You can find instructions on page 18 inside the user manual located here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--GGBQa7wh--/txclinonwm9vrd1ibup9.pdf

I got the machine unboxed, followed the directions and when I started the brew cycle, I got an error message to "add water". I looked in the user guide and went through the trouble shooting and that did not help. Not sure where to go from here as the carafe looks to be unblocked and I don't see anything weird in the seating feature. Some water did make it through to the grounds, but even after unplugging, restarting, etc., it will only get 5 or 6 seconds into the brew cycle before the "add water message" comes on again.

** When ** the grinder works, it makes a great coffee. The grinder will not "pull" the beans to grind; if you're not standing over your coffee pot to help "feed" them in, you will only have hot water. At first, we thought it was just a fluke but it's happening more and more often. We have cleaned the grinder, adjusted the coarseness settings but nothing is working. Definitely not worth the money.

Disappointed with this purchase. There are four coffee, strength settings, from light p to the top setting called golden. No matter which of these I select the grinder delivers the same amount of coffee into the basket and even on the light setting the coffee Is too strong to drink. On every setting the basket is completely full To the top. It is grinding so much coffee on every basket whether I choose 4 cups or 9 cups light drink or strong. I have no control over the type of coffee strength that produces and all of it is too strong to drink.

We'd like to help out with your coffee maker brewing a more balanced pot. It can be important to remember that coarser grind sizes result in less surface area of the coffee grounds for extraction, consequently producing a lighter flavor. Smaller grind sizes result in more surface area of the coffee grounds for extraction, consequently producing stronger flavors. You can adjust the grind size until the coffee taste is to your preference. We would recommend a grinder setting of 3 for balanced extraction. If you are still experiencing issues, we suggest checking your warranty information on page 26 inside the user manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--GGBQa7wh--/txclinonwm9vrd1ibup9.pdf?

I just got this coffee maker. LOVE the look. Also love fresh ground coffee. I have used for three days and water is all over my counter. I’m not sure if I need to return. Makes me so sad because I really love the machine but having the water all over isn’t convenient.
1 reply from Cafe_Appliances team - 3 months ago
We'd like to help out with your coffee maker leaking. We recommend to make sure the water tank is placed all the way down. You can push down until it is fully seated. Also, check that the carafe is properly in place and the top of the carafe is in contact with the brew basket. If you notice excessive steam from the vent: This means the water outlet to the shower head is probably clogged. You can remove the showerhead and check if there is any scale build up on the showerhead and water outlet. Also, we recommend using descale solutions to run a descale cycle.

Had just over a year and a few months ago the grinder stopped working. I thought it was the beans but Changed beans and cleaned and I still have to sit and watch it and try to get beans to go in grinder to grind. When I set it to brew in early am it doesn’t grind much if any and it’s basically hot water. I’m very disappointed as I love my kitchen full of cafe appliances but unfortunately this is a miss for me. Not worth the price to hardly work after a year.

I set up my Cafe brewer X-mas morning. Thanks Santa. I followed instructions, connected to the app. Then added beans. Set brew for 4 cups, utilizing the insulated carafe. Absolutely marvelous coffee. I said goodbye to my Keurig. I have a potpourri of beans to try. So many options to experiment with. Cheers!☕
