Description
Candy Glow is a bright and colorful bedside night light and alarm clock. Simply press down on the top to turn on the nightlight and choose either white, color or a gradually changing color gradients (our favorite!). With adjustable brightness and a sleep timer, drift off to sleep with relaxing lighting options. Set the wake up light to gradually brighten and wake you up before the alarm sounds. The modern white LED clock display has dimmer settings and the alarm has an adjustable snooze times for your convenience. Candy Glow is powered with an included plug-in power adapter and features battery backup with 2 AAA batteries (not included). If the power is interrupted the alarm will still sound, you can tap the clock to see the time and when power is restored the time and alarm settings will be saved.

Q: What are the time settings for the night light function? Will it stay on for 12 hours?

A: You can turn the night light on and it will stay on till you turn it off. There's also a timer that will automatically turn the night light off after 20 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours.

Q: how do i snooze it when the alarm goes off? ive just been pressing down on the part that lights up to snooze it, but obviously that turns the light on. so i was just wondering if there was a way to snooze it without turning on the light as well??

A: When the alarm is sounding and you press down on the top of Candy Glow once the alarm will snooze without turning the night light on. If you press down again on the top the night light will turn on.

Q: Can the wake up clock have the light function to wake up without setting off the audible alarm? I want my kids to know when they can get out of bed but not actually wake them up.

A: Hi Val. The Candy Clock has an alarm the sounds and not a wake up light that will let kids no it's ok to get out of bed. A: The Candy display will always stay on. If the display is turning off, please check to make sure the clock is plugged in and getting power. If the clock is not plugged or the power goes out the backup batteries will make sure that the alarm will still sound and if you press down on the top of the clock the time will show temporarily.

A: Candy Glow is a plug-in clock. Since the display lights as well as the night light it cannot operate on battery power (batteries would drain unreasonably quickly for a clock). Candy Glow has backup batteries that offer limited functionality in the case that the power goes out: the alarm will sound, the time and alarm settings will stay saved, you can tap the down on the top of Candy Glow and the time will briefly show for a few seconds.

Q: The description and box says there’s a wake up light option to “wake gently with light gradually turning on.” How do you set this up? I don’t see it in the instructions that come with the clock.

A: Hi. Thanks for your interest in our Candy Glow. You can turn on the wake to light when you setup the alarm (the details are in the "Setting the Alarm" section of the user guide step 4). When you press and hold the alarm button to set the alarm, you first set the time then press alarm button to set the snooze and then press alarm button to enable or disable the wake up light. 15 minutes before the wake up time the light will turn on low and gradually get brighter. This alarm clock seems to work well and has some fun and convenient features - dual alarm, nightlight, snooze, and battery backup, for example - but the sound of the alarm itself is atrocious. It's a loud and piercing, and the volume cannot be adjusted. For this reason alone, I will be returning it. Color-changing lights are fun and all, but the primary function of an alarm clock should have better adjustable options than this one does.

This is a very cute little alarm clock. I like the way you can tap on the top two turn on the night light. The alarm needs to be re-engineered, however. To turn it off, you must push a button on the side of the clock which is very awkward. As others have mentioned, the beeping alarm can be heard in another room. You cannot control the volume of the alarm. And, you can't turn off the alarm to be awakened by the light only. The beeping alarm sound is annoying. Chimes would be much better!

If you are looking for a nice, sleek, and at the same time simple alarm clock - look no more. The Capello Candy Glow alarm clock is the perfect addition to any room. It is sleek, lightweight, and doesn't take up much space. The alarm is straightforward to operate and set up. It has two alarm options, which is excellent for two people. The lights feature is a great addition and makes a huge difference when the alarm goes on. It can be operated with two AAA batteries or a power adapter. Overall, it's a great alarm to have.

i can not figure out how to use this clock. to complicated to switch the AM and PM mood lights to set and press on side of the bottom buttons. To set the face clock time was easy. The display numbers and mood lights are very pretty but for my 7 year old to explain to them which button to press for this and this button for that was too much. we use it for time only. Its a cute size- especially for a child. Another negative is its only electric plug cord only. It can not operate on batteries alone. It does have a battery back up but will not work solo. My daughters room only has 4 outlets- we dont have much room for additional cords.

nice little Alarm clock doesn't take up much space. It also has a night light that you can dim or change the coler. The only thing that is weird about it is the number different sizes. It's will wake you right up. You can plug it down or it takes batteries.

Capello Candy alarm & night light is fun and easy to use. It's small size doesn't take up much room on the nightstand. I enjoy the variety of colors you can choose from. The sleep timer is another great feature that shuts off the light at your chosen interval. Dimming clock face is wonderful as well.

This is great bedside night light and alarm clock for kids. I like that it comes with an adaptor for plug in. It’s very easy to use and comes with color changing lights. It’s very cute, simple and easy to use. It has soft padding on it so it does not move around too much or scratch the bedside table.

I received this Candy Glow Alarm Clock with Color Changing Nightlight by Capello for free from the Hey, Bullseye sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The display is white dots and can be a little bright at night and hard to read. It is a very small clock. I like that it has a battery back up. My daughter loved the idea of this clock, so I set it up in her room to try it out. She liked the night light effects but no directions came with it, and she played around with it to learn how to change the colors. It must be on a solid surface to turn the night light on. When you press on the indented top the nightlight turns on. If you look at the bottom of the clock there are two buttons near the front so when you press on the top they are pressed down with the pressure. By holding the color button on the side she was able to change the colors. She held the button in till it started turning colors, creating an Ombre effect. The night light would continuously fade color to color.

This is a nice little alarm clock that gets the job done! What is really cool about this clock is that it lights up at night. It can be set to have a white light, colors and even changing colors. It would really be perfect for a child's room or teenager. Another great feature of this alarm clock is that it has two alarms. So if you need to set two different times for different days you don't have to keep constantly changing that one alarm. Overall I think that this is a great alarm clock. It has all your basic needs and then some extras thrown in to make life a little more easier!

This is a fun concept with the colored light. The light has to be turned on manually by pressing down on the clock. You can turn it off manually or via a timer. The provided power cord was a little too short to reach from my outlet to the night stand. Between that and the fact that the clock is very light, it doesn’t stay in place facing the direction I want it to. The grippy things on the bottom either need to be more substantial or it needs a little more weight to stay put. It would be nice if you could choose the sound for the alarm. It is a standard beeping sound. You can dim the display but you can’t turn it off entirely. Even at the lowest setting it is still pretty bright. I included pictures at the highest brightness and dimmest for reference. It works as a first alarm clock for my daughter but doesn’t have all the options I’d want myself.

This is such a cute alarm clock. Honestly, I thought it would be a little bigger, but that’s my fault for not looking at the measurements and only the picture. I really like the color options for the nightlight, which can be surprisingly bright, so I’m glad it has dimness options as well. It doesn't rotate through colors but will stay at the color you choose. Easy to program. The alarm is a typical beeping sound that is annoying enough to wake you up.

This is a pretty cool compact alarm clock. Very easy to setup the time and alarm. The color changing nightlight it was cool affect. I like the multiple color options. Batteries are needed for the battery backup.

This is so cool!! I love how you can change the colors of the clock and also how bright the colors are. There's also a night light feature that will turn off after a little bit. There's another feature that the night light will turn on with your alarm. Adds some pizzazz to your alarm clock..haha
