A: Hello! To use, first smooth hair down on the sides and gather hair at the crown. Unfasten the clip and wrap the comb around the base. Then fasten the clip closed.

I used this product two times. Both times it was hard to clip the two ends together, and my hair isn't very thick. It was difficult to get a good grip on it and clip the ends together. The third time I attempted to use it, it broke apart where the two pieces are joined together, and there is no way to re-secure it with any confidence that it won't fly apart at any moment. It was a waste of money and really aggravating, coming from a well-known brand.

I've used the other original product prior to the purchase of this Cantù hair clip. So far this hair clip is working for me. The material or plastic is different and also shiny compared to the other. Time will tell how durable it is.

It’s the right size I guess but the hinge is so flimsy that it broke apart after a couple uses. I tried to smash it back together with pliers but it’s plastic with a metal barrel that goes in the center that isn’t big, long, or strong enough to pop through both sides & hold both outer parts of the plastic. It’s like it’s gently sitting in the center ready to split. What they need is a bigger joint going through both 2 pieces completely & wider rims to hold both sides of the plastic without it sliding out so easily.

I actually like this and I am very surprised that I have not tried one of these sooner. I’m not sure how long it will last before I need to replace it but it held my straightened 4c hair really well. I was able to do a really cute messy bun. I’m excited to try it for a wash n go w my curls. I would maybe recommend grabbing 2 at a time.

This is not the best option for a hair tie. It was extremely tight on my thick coily hair & couldn’t even fit my hair into a proper puff. It was a nice try, but I would not recommend.

I bought this because a review said it was like the PuffCuff, it’s not. It’s smaller than my 5in round PuffCuff. This one is more of an oval shape which kinda gives you a puffy faux hawk appearance instead of an actual bun. Also it’s too small if you have longer fuller 4c hair as is not big enough to hold all my hair.

I like this clip, and prefer it over hair ties. I do have curly hair, not super thick, but it holds really well. My texture is similar to Yara Shahidi’s and it gives me a nice low pony look when my hair starts to get frizzy.

I have thick curly hair and was looking for something to keep it up with out straining my curls. After playing around with this I discovered it works better upside down with the teeth facing down it help up great. The only issue I had was the plastic closer broke on one side after a short while.

Wonderful for my daughters thick type 4 curly hair. Allows us the relax her edges vs a typical high ponytail puff. If you’re saying it’s not holding your hair, you might not be using it right. She even fell asleep with it on and it did not come off.

I'm big sure if my hair just isn't thick enough or the application was wrong, but it was a no go for me. This product does have a great build quality and I feel it would work great for someone with thicker hair than me.
