Can't Cook Hot

Instructions that came with the set warn that cooking should be done on low to medium heat only, as high heat will damage the surface of the cookware, in addition to releasing harmful toxins into what's being cooked. Also warns that heating without oil will damage the surface. Takes way longer to heat than stainless, and if I have to add oil anyway, then provides no nonstick benefit over stainless. With stainless though, I don't have to worry about toxic food if I use higher heat. Definitely would not buy again, or recommend.

This is an amazing set of pots and pans! I'm very impressed with how beautiful they look. I absolutely love the color and the faux wood handle. It's very classy and stylish and looks great in my kitchen. They are high quality and nothing sticks to these pots and pans. They are so great to cook with and make cooking fun and easy. They're very easy to clean and don't require any scrubbing. Metal cooking utensils should not be used on these. This set even came with a rubber spatula.

Great cookware. Clean look with easy clean up. The Carote pots and pans are versatile for the many dishes we cook. My teen boys love using the frying pan to cook their meals. They love that pans clean easy too.

Great set of pans. I fried some fish in the small frying pan and it cleaned up very easily. I do not believe these are dishwasher safe. It is recommended to clean by hand. Each pan is on the lighter side so that’s a plus. Although the handles look like wood, they feel more like silicone. Still pretty set that I hope will hold up over time!
