Q: Is this stroller compatible with a different brand infant car seat.
submitted by Mark - 5 months ago
A: We do not recommend using our stroller with car seats manufactured by another company. We also do not recommend using any adapters from third party sellers. They have not been tested and approved by us and we do not know how they will interact. This in turn may cause a safety concern.

I haven’t used the stroller yet but the car seat is not suitable for tiny newborns. My baby is 6 pounds and very floppy so he is aryn he’d so bad in this. His neck seems like it’s not comfortable no matter what I do.

The infant car seat should be used in the stroller for a newborn. The stroller is only designed for babies around 6 months of age who have good head and neck control.

I had this travel set for a year now so. I think I can safely write this review after using the stroller a whole bunch of times. To get to the point, this stroller is awesome. The handling is good and easy to manuever, the huge storage space has served us well, I like its random features like the adjustable handlebar, the cup holders, and the how much the shade provides for my little one. It also looks super pretty. I think the only initial gripe I had was how heavy it was, but personally, my own baby weighed 25 lbs. before he was 9 months old, so at some point lifting this stroller was not a problem anymore lol. All in all, I have no regrets buying this travel set BUT I also paid 40% off for this via Buy Buy Baby (RIP). I'm honestly not sure if we would have purchased this without its major discount, but nonetheless, I still have nothing but good things to say about this stroller after using it for so long. Would definitely recommend.

I used Chicco with all 3 of my kids. Love them. I just wasn’t in love with this stroller. I do love the price for the travel system combo. The quality is nice, turns great, fabric is amazing but the only thing I don’t like is the fact that there is no leg rise. I mean it should have one considering when infant is big enough, they would obviously go straight into the stroller that came with the car seat. My 9 month old legs just dangles and looks so uncomfortable for her. Definitely don’t recommend this for smaller babies/toddlers where their legs don’t reach the foot rest.

It is worth paying a little more for the tires, the stroller is very smooth to drive and easy to assemble. The car seat is heavy and the seat belt is difficult to fasten with the baby seated. To keep the baby's head straight I had to buy an extra pillow

Stroller is user friendly and I love the small details like the leather handle and rubber tires. Unlike the Chicco Corso LE travel system, this one comes with cup holders and more storage which was a huge selling point for me. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend buying this during Target's carseat trade-in event.

This travel system is very heavy. I love the way it looks but the car seat itself with my 11lb daughter is very heavy, and none functional to carry from the car to house. The stroller is also very heavy and awkward to try to get up into the back of an SUV. I definitely wish I would have paid a little bit more for a car seat that is known for its lightweight.

The stroller is very smooth. Both the primo stroller and car seat have cool features that make it worth the price (bigger zipper ventilation, car seat private “blanket” that unzips from the car seat canopy).

Safety hazard

I bought this two months ago and thought it was perfect. It is a safety hazard. When opening it to put the infant carrier in you NEED to make sure it is completely locked. It has collapsed twice now with my child infant child in it. Also, the foot lock appears locked and wasn’t, only one side was and it rolled down a hill with my infant in the carrier. I am not happy with this stroller .

Received for my baby shower from my grandparents. It was the stroller I wanted and looked very modern/nice. This is a overpriced peice of plastic trash! Don't waste your money! Mine is so scratched up from opening it and holding my baby. Its a nightmare. I can not even adjust my baby while she is sleeping, just gets stuck or falls back while she is sitting. Such a waste of money makes me sad!

I received this as a shower gift. My son is 4 months old now and I’ve loved this whole combo! My son was born 3 weeks early and was 5lbs, the car seat has fit him from the beginning with the newborn insert. The car seat clicks in and out of the base easily in the car. I will say initially I had a hard time getting it out of the stroller until I learned to push it down the pull up when taking it out of the stroller. Now I have no issues. I haven’t switched over to the regular stroller since my son isn’t sitting by himself but it was pretty straight forward and easy to take apart the stroller that I’m sure it’ll be just as easy to put together. I’ve used the stroller on regular concrete, asphalt and gravel and did not have an issue. I will say because this is not an all terrain stroller the gravel was a bit bouncy so we no longer use it on that. I don’t expect it work since there are running strollers with a shock system made for a smoother ride. Overall I’m so happy with the whole system it’s been easy to use and everything is made well.

I ordered this as a gift for a grandchild. The box is noticeably bent, but I am hoping everything inside is fine. It was good to have it delivered for free. A better deal is offered this week. Wish that I had waited a few days to order. We purchased a similar Chicco set 5 years ago for another grandchild and it was a good product.

It was soooo easy to put together. I had a graco jogger and the wheels would shake and shake the crap out of my kiddo. This is sleek and smooth. I have a toddler now so it doesn’t feel heavy at all. Looove it. My newborn will be here in October, let’s hope it’s just a good for that little one as well.

We got this from our baby shower and we love it. It is rated high in safety which is a must. Our baby seems very comfortable in his car seat, and having the option to have multiple bases is great. The rubber tires on the stroller make a huge difference compared to the plastic ones. It is so easy to fold and unfold, and the extra shade from the canopy is awesome for a sunny day. This travel system is definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Great car seat, bad stroller

Chicco Bravo Primo - 1 year ago

I wouldn’t purchase this travel system again primarily because of the stroller wheels. They are terrible. Right out of the box my husband had to purchase hitch pin clips to secure the wheels. I had a 5 pound baby born in winter so this stroller has not been used excessively. I probably used it 10 times before discarding it and using a 7 year old Graco hand me down from my sister that’s rolled strong through 4 kids already. The Chicco stroller folds fine with one hand but does require 2 hands to unfold. The canopy coverage and cup holders are great, but this is an unreliable, indoor pushing stroller at best. It only glides well on newer concrete or pavement when outside. The car seat is great; my baby dropped to 4lb 12oz when we left the hospital and the car seat has always been secure even when the baby was such a small size. I will continue to use the car seat but the unit as a travel system is worthless with such poor functioning stroller wheels.
