It doesn’t taste like typical ranch but it’s a bit lighter. I like that it comes in a glass bottle but it was hard to get the contents to come out especially after putting in the refrigerator. Not sure if I would buy it but it’s not bad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chosen Foods Classic Ranch with 100% pure avocado oil is an “umami” take on ranch dressing and dip with its rich buttermilk taste plus the fatty taste of clean avocado oil. It has hints of black pepper and dill (the herbal specks of which can be seen) to subtly brighten, but is not a super herbaceous ranch dressing. The natural, slightly darkened color has a rich appearance. But the dressing does separate unless shaken, which is a direction to do so on the bottle but I feel can be more prominent. The glass bottle is rich feeling too. But the thin bottle neck can make the dressing difficult to dispense. Especially when I forget to shake. I tried Chosen Foods Classic Ranch on salads, pasta, chicken and bread. I enjoyed it wherever I might enjoy the taste of olive oil (or avocado oil) with a kick. This isn’t your watery or fake tasting ranch which tastes like a vinaigrette only suitable for salads. This Classic Ranch has a pleasant, earthy, savory taste with the richness of buttermilk and natural herbs and spices. I did personally wish for more dill. But on most fronts, it hits the mark.

The dressing itself has a pleasant smell without strange overtones or spices.. It also has a pleasing texture what is smooth but not too runny. Found it adhered to my spring mix nicely without running to the bottom. I used it in a sandwich, and it was delicious without making my sandwich wet or runny. I have been cooking with avocado oil for the past two years and was satisfied to see this product used avocado oil as a base. Love it!

There are few ingredients and those that were Chosen to go inside this bottle perfectly complement each other. This is the first time I see pear juice as a sweetener and I like it. I like the 8 oz. Glass bottle because most dressings are too big and I end up throwing them away.
