I travel too much to have to get my hair colored every few weeks. Natural Instincts covers my gray and washes out gradually without ‘roots’ It’s easy to do yourself at home but use an old towel you won’t mind getting stained.

I loved the color on the box but it came out super dark. Thankfully I was used to it because that’s how my hair turned out at the salon when they used demi permanent.

Wish I didn't waste my money on this terrible product and should have read all these terrible reviews before I did! Absolutely will never buy any hair products from this company again

I have been using Natural Instincts Light Golden Brown (demi) for many years with no problem. I picked up your new formula because the original is no longer available. Fingers crossed, I gave it a try. Unfortunately, the color lasted only until my first shampoo. Grays are back! So disappointed! Please bring back the old formula!

I have been using Clairol Natural Instincts Dark Blond for years. It covers well and even now with more grey, it still cover great - I just reapply about every 3 weeks. My problem is with the new gloves. While I appreciate that those who have larger hands can fit the gloves, they no longer work for me because they fall off my hand as I’m applying the product! Very frustrating! Please provide two sizes if you’re trying to be accommodating because you’ve just excluded those of us with small or medium hands.(I usually wear medium dish washing gloves and these gloves are still waaaaaayyyy too big!

I have used this product in the dark blonde for a number of years! I have tried other brands, but this one is my favorite! The color is perfect and I love that it washes out gradually!! For some reason I find less and less of it in the stores, though. I love how shiny and soft my hair feels!!

I first used this over 2 months ago, 5G Medium Golden Brown. I'm in the process of growing my grey hair out so this is the only safe option. It is really dark at first but after the 2nd or 3rd washing it's the perfect shade! It will definitely save me and my hair!!

I used this in order to postpone going to the hair dresser and cover my roots for the holidays. I followed the directions. I even left it on about 3-4 minutes longer because I was on the phone with my mother, and it didn't cover any of the gray. I was really disappointed

This color line will last up to 24 washes and blend up to 35% of gray hair. Have been using Natural Instincts light brown for years. Today opened box and discovered the tube of color was a dark mocha....even after mixing. Please see pictures. Luckily I had a spare box on hand and proceeded with color. Please check quality control......hope this is not a trend.

We check the quality of our products many times during the manufacturing process. If air comes into contact with the color, it can make the dye darker. This reaction with the air is called oxidization and the result is oxidized hair color. If this happens, you should not use the product as it may no longer work properly (ex: deposit color or blend grays). In the future, before you buy the product: make sure the packaging hasn't been opened and isn't damaged. Please keep the product and get back in touch with us! I used Medium Warm Brown on virgin graying brown hair, followed instructions, and was very surprised at the result. Sort of blackish with orange highlights? Much darker and redder than expected, NOT medium and NOT brown. Currently working on fast-fading as best I can with clarifying shampoo…

I bought this because zero ammonia thinking it was going to be gentle with the scalp. I got a darker color for the roots to get full coverage as always do with my previous brand and it was a disaster. My gray hair was not covered, the other sections where the color touched where I had my previous color got colored very dark, and I had a terrible scalp burning sensation that was awful and defitted the whole purpose. I do not recommend this product.

I've been using this product for many years and especially liked the medium golden brown for the golden highlights it gave my dark brown now graying hair. However, the last 2 boxes seemed more like red undertones, which is more like medium warm brown, and I dont like it as well. Has the formula changed? Not sure I will buy it again.

This brand and color has always worked for me. It is easy to apply and looks professionally done. Wish they would change applicator bottle tip; make it snap off instead of cutting with scissors. The end never cuts right. Target seems to be only place I can easily get this color, but only online.
