Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Blonde Toning Conditioner - 16 fl oz

In my opinion, the fragrance is way too strong. It's so strong, it triggers allergies and migraine for me.

This is a product I've used for many, many years. It tones out any warm/yellowish color and cools and brightens it. I have fine, straight hair, and need conditioning and smoothing that this product isn't good for. This is, for me, only to soak long enough to get the tone right. I use a moisturizing conditioner after rinsing this product out. So it is indespensible for getting my hair color looking great, but I don't use it as an actual conditioner, which is what it's labeled as being. So if you need the color correction, brightening, this is THE product you want, but don't expect it to smooth and detangle. Follow up with a product designed for that purpose.

Not moisturizing at all. In Fact, makes my hair feel dry and the smell is horrible. I wanted to wash my hair again to get the awful smell out.

First impression when pouring it on my hand was, “This is pale and watered down.” Then by the moment I got it to my hair I began to smell it. Like a toxic peppermint chemical smell. I washed it out immediately and I can’t get the smell out of my hair or hands! It’s so chemically smelling I am terrified my hair is going to fall out! I am nearly in tears over it! Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend at all!

My all time favorite purple shampoo!! Works great!

This stuff definitely deposits the purple but the smell is so overwhelming. It smells like a cheap cinnamon perfume candle, I don’t even understand how this is a scent for hair products.

The best toner conditioner I’ve used made my hair so bright. I’ve tried them all not as amazing.

This conditioner works far better than any purple shampoo I’ve ever tried. It has about 5x the toning power of a shampoo, in my opinion. I’m left with a very cool blonde every time I use it on my previously bleached and toned hair! I knew the Shimmer Lights shampoo was superb, so I tried this, and I’m glad I did!

Brings life to my hair

I was warned about this product by the clerk when I checked out—she told me she had used this, and it really dried her hair out, and she hoped I would have a different experience. But it is absolutely terrible. Used it twice and threw the rest away. There is no creamy texture to it at all, and if anything, it left my hair more brittle than if I had not used the product at all, only shampooed. Avoid!

Love this shampoo for my grey hair. Brings out the silver! Target has a great price for this shampoo!

I recently dyed my hair with some blonde highlights and I used this conditioner to tone down the blonde and this conditioner is super watery and didn’t help at all. Made my hair smell bad and No change at all.

No need for a detangler after using this conditioner. The smell is very nice, no oily feel and silky smooth hair after.

I use the shampoo and have never had an issue with it. I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't buy another shampoo bottle instead of conditioner because of how thin the liquid was. The shampoo is less drying than the conditioner and my hair feels AWFUL after using this. It's going in the trash, I don't know if the product went bad or what but it makes your hair feel brittle.

So good!! I used to use John Frieda and decided to give this one a try because I heard great things about it. I really noticed a difference in the brassiness of my hair, and I think this will be Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Conditioner my new go-to shampoo and conditioner!!

This product works really well in between dyes and toning! When I go platinum I always have this in my shower. But beware not to leave it on too long or your hair can go purple! Hahah it’s happend to me before but it washes out with a dish soap.

With the shampoo from the same line, the product helps my hair become blonder and shinier after just one use. The price point is affordable so I don’t have to second guess the purchase either.

The bottle says no test strand needed but buyer beware! This burn every part of my hair, made my eyes burn and my hair has never been so dry. Plus the smell, oh my gosh the horrible smell! Spend the extra money for Redkin!
