Clinique High Impact Gel Tech Eyeliner - 0.01oz - Ulta Beauty

The eye liner itself is awesome. I love how it looks, I love that it stays on all day. The 2 stars I took off is because after about half way through the liner breaks, I try to put it back in but it's pointless because it smudges every where, my fingers the bathroom counter/sink. I don't mind paying the price because it is good high end liner. But it's not worth the price if I can't use the whole product. Fix that and I will try it out again. FYI I purchased this one 3 different times and it broke all 3 times.

I love this eyeliner and the entire Black Honey line but this product flakes when I use an angled brush to smooth it out. Some of the product gets in my eye/under-eye area which is somewhat irritating. I like using this now but not sure if I would buy again due to the product flaking off. I've noticed this issue with other Clinique cosmetic products. I love the Pop Lip+Cheek Oil but this really dries my lips out. The color is great but the application sometimes falls short. I recently purchased the Lip+Cheek Oil but have gone through so much of it already because it dries out within minutes of application. If Clinique managed to fix this issue I would only buy from them! Colors of the Black Honey line are still wonderful.

Definitely does not last 12 hours. It also leaves "crumbs." Overall, not very happy with how it goes on and what it looks like later in the day.

I used to absolutely love this eyeliner and have been using it gor the last three years BUT the last two times i have purchased this gel liner i have found it dries up amd breaks off and so i only get yo use this liner for a couple weeks. I barely bring it to the top so not too much is exposed just enough for me to use. I feel the ingredients have changed. Now i have to find another liner so i dont waste my money.

Fantastic color for my dark blue eyes! Pigmented but a little firm, so not a creamy glide but still good! A little pricy but its gonna last awhile. Would buy again!

Just LoVe It

Honestly wish I didn't have to give such a bad rating but my experience has been nothing but poor with this product. I was excited to try as it is advertised specifically to be waterline safe. I bought this yesterday and immediately opened it to put it on. It is extremely difficult to go on my waterline even after drying my waterline with a tissue. After that it does not go on smoothly, heavy in some places and tiny clumps sometimes and other places just smeared where you can still see the skin through. Furthermore, it irritates the crap out of my eyes. I know it is not supposed to go in your eye but due to the aforementioned tiny clumps, it is hard not to get it in the eye. Just it being on my waterline is bothersome as well. I am a contacts wearer but these are all things this product has claimed to be safe for. I am extremely disappointed as the price is steep compared to the cheap drug store brand that has never given me an issue. Lastly am I doing something wrong because this thing won't roll up. I am just rotating the bottom several times and it never comes up. I accept that this could be user error. I will continue to give this product a chance and change my rating if warranted so if this is still here then it still stands. I also hate that a dark brown color is "limited edition". I'm old, I need dark brown liner.

It is very dry and not smooth. I have to run it over my eyelid several times to even see it start to deposit color.

Have not used another eyekiner since I bought this one. I am going out today to get another one. The color is gorgeous and makes my green blue eyes pop. And it doesnt smudge! I pray they never stop making this color.

I'm extremely disappointed in this product. It was easy to apply at first, creamy and colorful. Then, after about a month or so, it completely dried out, and was absolutely impossible to transfer any color to my lash line. I will never purchase this one again.

This was dried up like it was super old. Could not even get to go on my hand. Then it broke off becaue it would not go on.

I wanted a pencil eyeliner for my waterline that would last a long time without melting. This was suggested. It does last a long time but it does still melt a little.

This liner goes on smooth and it does last. I would recommend it. The only thing is that it is pricey. They have great colors to choose from.

It dries, crumbles, does not go on smoothly. I love the color, but not the formula. Seriously, there are drug store brands that are better. Very disappointing.

I've been using Clinique since I was 16 years old and I am now 52. The eyeliner has declined in quality. This particular one clumps - if it even goes on your skin because it also dries out making it nearly impossible to use. I don't want to have the hassle of returning this and going to the post office. I guess I will try a drug store brand in the future.

Goes on smooth, and such a beautiful color! So much better than brown for my green/hazel eyes. Love it so much I plan to order the Black Honey mascara to go with it.
