I was so sick of working a long shift, and the looking in the mirror and seeing that my mascara migrated down to my cheeks. I needed a tubing mascara that was gentle on the eyes and didn't move. This mascara does not budge until you need to remove it, and unlike other tubing mascaras, I never see my lashes come off with the mascara at the end of the night.

Product goes on clean lashes easily, covers evenly and doesn't run in the rain or with exercise. No greasy make-up removers needed. Love it!

Perfection!! Why am I just finding out about this mascara now?! I will use this as my #1 mascara. Please do not stop making it.

I love the color but..it flakes off in pieces all over my face. even after a couple days of cleaning my face itas still there and coming off or flaking off.

this is my absolute favorite mascara - it will not give you the look of falsies but it does absolutely give you a little extra lift and volume and it last all day without smudging or clumping

The brush length fits the shape of my eyes. Most bristles would be much better. So almost perfect.

It's a bad idea to take a 14-year-old shopping for nice mascara, because she'll get attached to it and never be able to make the switch to something she can actually afford. That's the story of me and this Clinique mascara, which I've been using, on and off, for literally half of my life. Hey kids - time flies! I've tried other tubing mascaras, including Milani's (more dramatic, but much clumpier, and I'm fairly sure it clogged my sink drain), as well as natural mascaras, waterproof mascaras, drugstore mascaras, etc. This is the only mascara that has never, ever, not once, smudged or flaked on me. I have decently oily skin around my eyes, so most regular mascaras give me raccoon eyes. This mascara looks perfect ALL DAY. It doesn't budge, and it does come off in warm water. Tip!: make sure that your lashes are very wetted with warm water and that the material has begun to soften before you rub the mascara off. This will help if you're losing lashes with removal. I also just use my fingers instead of a cloth, which I think helps. Another tip: you need to apply it fast; once it dries on your lashes, the coverage isn't very buildable. This is fine for me, as I prefer a more natural look. I am not a Clinique sponsor (sigh), just a broke woman approaching her 30s who, unfortunately, has never learned to live without this mascara. 100% recommend, will buy until my inevitable death.

I like clinique as a brand and have tried a lot of products over the years – for example, the powder with spf i swear by. But this was a miss. It's good at first, very lengthening, glides on smooth and doesn't smudge. But after a couple months I noticed how much it clumps in comparison to my other mascaras, and flakes really noticeably after about 2 hours of wear. I wouldn't repurchase.

I can only wear waterproof mascara as my eyelashes won't hold a curl otherwise. This mascara works like a charm and also doesn't irritate my eyes. The curl holds beautifully and my lashes look long and full.

Don't waste your money! It's clumpy, flaky and in humidity your top and bottom lashes will get sticky and stuck together when you blink. AWFUL!

I just bought this and tried it for the first time. My lashes are short and I wanted something to lengthen them and make them bolder. I have used it for two days and have gotten some many compliments on my lashes. It definitely makes a difference. My coworkers said it looks like I got them done professionally. It gives it a nice curl, bold color, and my lashes look longer with no flaking. I am sold!

My lashes are straight long and light in color. I use an eye lash curler to to lift them BUT this mascara defines and gives my lashes the color and thickness needed to make my lashes standout

I was skeptical at first about that tiny little brush but it is amazing—catches all those little lashes and lifts them up, and stays on all day, washes off with warm water!

Have used for many years because it's the only one that does not sweat down for raccoon eyes

This mascara used to be the best mascara i had ever used. I'm pretty sure Clinique changed the formula and, since then, I haven't ordered another tube. The wand is awesome and I've actually saved it to use with other mascara. Its super easy to remove-so much so that all you need is a make-up wipe but it does not run if it gets wet from rain or the pool. You could make it look as natural or as you want or layer it to get a more dramatic effect. It literally was the best mascara ever. Then they changed it. I have no idea why Clinique would change such an awesome product. It was perfect. Now it flakes a lot. I would be constantly checking my face for flakes. And after a couple of weeks the mascara would be all dried out! I fixed that problem with a couple of drops of distilled water, but who wants to have to add water to their mascara? Not me! Clinique, please bring back the original formula!!!
