According the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), "There is no evidence that the virus which causes COVID-19 can be spread through the use of pools and hot tubs. As always, it is important to conduct proper routine operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g. with chlorine or bromine) of pools and hot tubs to kill bacteria and keep pools and hot tubs clean." When Green Algae Eliminator 2 is used to kill green algae, a dosage of 16 ounces per 10,000 gallons (or 10 ounces (1 1/4 cups) for your 6,400 gallon pool) is recommended. When Green Algae Eliminator 2 is being used for algae prevention, an initial dose of 8 ounces per 10,000 gallons (or 5 ounces for your 6,400 gallon pool) is recommended, followed by weekly maintenance doses of 1 1/2 ounces (3 Tablespoons) per 10,000 gallons (or 1 ounce (2 Tablespoons) for your 6,400 gallon pool).
