Clorox Pool&Spa Super Water Clarifier helps make your pool crystal clear and sparkling blue. This pool clarifier combines a lot of small particles into larger ones, making it easier for your filter to remove them. By removing these small particles, it cleans up a cloudy, hazy pool and makes the water clear and easier to see through. Dosage is only 1oz for every 5,000 gallons of pool water.

Q: Can we use this in our pool if our pool does not have a filter?

A: Hi Tina, We are the manufacturer of Clorox Pool&Spa products. Our Super Water Clarifier works to combine smaller particles into larger masses that can be more easily removed by the pool's filter. If your pool does not have a pump and a filter, we do not recommend the use of this product, since it works with the filter to improve water clarity. Hi Bcsullivan. We are the manufacturer of Clorox Pool&Spa products. The clarifier works by circulating and binding up small particulates into larger masses so they can be filtered out more easily. Modifying circulation and filtration by angling returns, modifying valve orientation, utilizing a fake main drain created by a vacuum hose and cleaning the filter only when pressure gets 10psi over the starting will help optimize filtration and change circulation patterns to better collect filterable material. If the pool is struggling to hold chlorine, this could indicate an abundance of oxidizable contaminants which clarifiers may struggle to remove and can only be resolved by heavy shocking. I've used this clarifier for a couple of years now This is the 1st time I had it delivered via Instacart When it arrived I noticed the color of the product was a very cloudy pale blue, unlike the previous bottles It also had a weird non chemical smell What gives guys? I'm not going to use it I'm going back to Super Blue

When reading about frequent items bought with the pool. I thought it would be great. Because I noticed it came with a pump. Thinking too far ahead that thus meant a pump & filter. The pump often bought with pool was to blow up pool with. So there is no other use for this Clorox Pool Clarifier.

The Super Water Clarifier itself does not come with a pool pump as that is typically purchased with the pool itself. I have a salt water pool. The machine broke and I didn't realize it. A month of shocking and vacuuming back washing before I realized the machine was not working. So dirty you could not see the through the water. We vacuumed the bottom without seeing it. Dumped in 2 oz. for 10,000 gallons. (was hard to find the dosage) Ran the pump over night. The next morning the pool was crystal clear. Backwashed the filter. Dark green slime. I should of taken pictures. We couldn't believe it. I have never wrote a review on anything till now.

Amazing! We had a cloudy pool with all levels checking out okay. This was recommended as a last resort to clear the water. I put this in the pool at 8pm and by 8am this is what was caught in my filter! My pool is clear!

We had a green cloudy pool that nothing could fix until we tried this! This (plus brushing and cleaning out the filter a few times a day) worked in about 48 hours to completely clean the pool.

There are absolutely no instructions anywhere for how much of this to add per volume of water. Just tossed some in and it works but I'm sure if there was proper dosage instructions it would work way better
