Bought these to use while moving from CA to WA years ago. I wanted something to communicate with my brother-in-law in another truck while we moved. These worked flawlessly for communicating but the batteries drained pretty fast on the 15+ hour drive. We both had to recharge them at least once. The NiMH batteries also don't hold charge while not in use so need periodic recharging, Wish there was an option for upgraded batteries.

The walkies are great. Very good sound. Haven’t tried the distance yet. But please be aware, they DID NOT come with a 2 port charging dock like it said on the description. It was quite a bummer, since it was one of the reasons why I chose this product over others.

Good Quality BUT,, It would have to be in PERFECT terrain and condition and on top of a mountain, to reach a 25 mile range!!!! I never could get more than 3 miles!!!!

These walkie talkies are great. They work so well outside and perfect for camping or going hikes to stay in touch with your group. It works in extreme weather and where cell phones dont have service. I haven't had to use them in an emergency situations but I have a feeling, it will come in handy. Very durable too and the perfect size.

These walkie talkies are awesome. My kids love using them all around the house and our yard. We can't wait to use them camping in the spring.
The rechargeable AA batteries are a great touch, because when we use them at home we can just plug them in to recharge them, but when we go camping with no electricity we can swap in regular AA batteries (we just need to remember to hold onto the rechargeable ones for later!).

Work great from our house to the neighbors down the street! Excited to try them in the summer months on the boat and around the campground. For now they work great for the kids to stay in touch with us and their buddies around the neighborhood! Seem sturdy and love that they are water resistant.

I like this Radio, is very compact and easy to carry on your when using it. the distance on it is good. I will be using this more when going camping this year. durable case makes it easy for kids to handle it. sound quality is good and clear.

We bought 4 of these to stay in touch in theme parks and driving.
They literally do about 500 metres a massive difference to the 25 mile claim.
