These worked great while we were camping in short range. However, I would be happy and give a 5 star review if these worked 1/10th the distance advertised. We have a tennis courts in our neighborhood which is exactly half a mile away from our house. Thought I would try to play while my son stayed at home. Told him to chat with me while I went to the courts to make sure if he needed me, he could call. We talked as I slowly drove to the court which is ONLY half mile away. The signal began to break up well before the court. At the court, the signal went in and out and was mostly unable to get a sentence out between us. I cant say how disappointed I was in the performance in these. We have brand new batteries in both walkie talkies.

This product looks impressive. It’s a Christmas gift for family.

Excellent item will use always

There is no range and it's all broken up at not even 200 yards away on a residential street that's pretty much a straight away!! I sent them back.Waiting for my money back!

Just got them,walked about a 1/4 mile away and tried them ,so far so good, 3 weeks and out for a camping trip ,big test then,I do have the marine version of this ,and for last 3 years been a very good radio to have on the boat ,and I carry when I even walk the beach shore line.

Works great for my job

We had problems getting the battery charger to work properly. I believe that the batteries are now charged and functioning. We have not as yet tried the radio. We are primarily interested in its long range capability.

I bought the cobra walkie talkies to try out at our Knight of Columbus golf tournament . They worked great. We had people scattered all over the course . There are a lot of trees through out the course. High and low elevations . 2 way transmission not a problem . Golfers tried there cell phones a lot of dead spot, or low signal.

Me and a buddy bought these we work 3.3 miles from each other. They wouldn't even pick up when we were at the 1.5 mark. Super disappointed is an understatement!

Have yet to try it in a flat open field, but from inside my home, trying to talk to my wife on her walk, I’m pretty sure I could have just yelled from inside and got as far as this radio worked… it literally only worked for about 1/4 mile, so I think that if in an open field, they should at least beep at 3.5 miles. That must be where the printing error was… there’s no way they will work at 35 miles, there would at least be a tall blade of grass somewhere in between that would stop the communication. Pretty sure my childhood Scooby Doo walkie talkies worked better as I could talk to my friend from my house to his, 4 doors down… from our bedrooms. :rofl::rofl:

This is absolutely a great product easy to use great clarity and range

We have a large extended family ranging in age from 7 to 80 years old. Despite the age difference, we all love to hike. Given the differences in capabilities, we often have one group that goes off trailblazing while others like to meander slowly. These walkie talkies are great for our purposes. The group can separate but still stay in constant communication so there's no danger of getting lost. Great range, battery life and flashlight. Highly recommend!

Has worked well around the home property. Have not taken it on a trip yet but that is oncoming. Also a very good price.

Works great out in the field when hunting and ATV rides. Don't have to stay in close contact or sight with each other works %reat.

Radio works but belt clip is hard to use should be spring loaded

I bought these brand new tonight for an offroading trip coming in a few days. Considering the price point and claimed range I had high hopes. My roommate helped me test them, at .2 miles it had perfect clarity, at .4 miles it started to get bad static, there was zero communication past .5 miles. I should mention this was in a residential area with no tell buildings that should cause any serious communication. I expected at least up to a mile all things considered, but J was extremely disappointed. I understand in a residential area they won’t work well, but having horrific static at .4 miles is beyond absurd
