My friend had an older model and the feature I like most is the weather alarm. Wakes you up if watch turns to warning and gives you time to shelter.If you get 1 order the ac charger for use on land.

I purchased 3 on Oct 4, 2021. First time they were used was November 6 2021. We have only used them a hand full of times. Fresh water not salt, but that should not make a difference. All 3 radio's will not work after being wet. Fully submersible and waterproof to IPX7 (JIS7) standards. The MR HF150 is designed to float so you never lose your VHF radio if dropped overboard. Of course the 30 return is up. Waiting for customer service to see what they are going to do.

I used it twice and it got water inside the case and can no longer be charged. What's with that? It was suppose to be a marine radio and be waterproof!!!
