These are absolutely terrible, the original two piece command hooks need to come back. I rarely return items that are below $10, as it’s not worth my time. But these frustrated so bad as they held up a weekend project, I made the return. They do not stick to the wall at all. The suggestions state they stick “better” on clean smooth surfaces. I tried to use these on just that and it indeed did NOT stick.

The newer strips are not sealing to wall because it’s missing the foam layer in between the adhesives. Don’t waste your money. Doesn’t hold or adhere to wall. Get the old version back

These are absolutely horrible, they won’t even stick to the wall by themselves with nothing on them. Going to try and return them today to customer service. Just to say these were the first commands I’ve ever bought that do not work!

We love our command hooks. They are durable, come off easily, and the clear makes it easy to hide while hanging decor. We recently used them to hang up our stockings and you can barely tell that they are there!

I just purchased these command strips today and they didn't work. I know some of the other reviews mentioned the plastic cracking over time, and I can definitely see that happening as well, but they simply don't work "fresh" either. I tried to hang a faux garland on my mantle using 3 of the hooks with the sheer strips and the garland immediately fell down. I tried to stick the hooks back up and let them sit longer, but they just fell off on their own. I have always been a huge fan of command strips, but you have to get the white, foam stickers. Thank goodness I also purchased a backup of those and now my garland is fine, but these see through ones are a waste of money. I only wish I would have read the reviews while I was at the store.

I am so sorry I bought and used this product! If I could give a minus star rating I would give it a -10 rating. I bought these hooks to use in my decorating for Christmas inside my home. Not only was I disappointed because they did not hold, some of my irreplaceable things were broken or damaged beyond repair.

I bought this about 4 months ago and I finally got around to putting them up. To my disappointment whenever I hung something on the hook, less than 24 hours later I found it on the ground. I tried this on several different surfaces and it alway failed. I followed the instructions and did not hang anywhere near the maximum weight each hook should hold. I've used the non-clear hooks such as the utensil, mini, and wire ones in the past and never had a problem. One thing that is obvious is that the material is thin and appears less durable than the white ones. I only wish I would have tried them sooner because I bought several packs and it's too late to return them. Because it's a 3M product, I didn't even consider that they wouldn't work. A big disappointment, especially since I'm from MN and have always been proud of their innovations.
