Description
Made from all organic ingredients and safe, non-toxic materials, Compostic bags are plastic-free, BPA-free and non-GMO. That means they won't leak harmful micro-plastics or toxins into the environment. The easy-to-operate, smooth-glide seal, keeps items air-tight and functions without tearing. An easy and convenient, better-for-you and better-for-the planet, alternative that doesn't compromise on performance.
Use, wash and reuse for up to a year and when finished simply add to your home compost. Within two months Compostic bags turn into plant food - that's faster than an orange peel! Printed with water or soy based inks, Compostic bags are 100% sustainable and all contents, including the exterior box, are home compostable. Worm-safe and adheres to strict European and American composting standards, including Lomi-approved. Store in a cool, dry place.
Now you can make lunch, not landfill. Small changes for you and a big win for the planet.
Target Zero Certified: Product contains compostable elements. Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. At least 50% of the packaging must use an alternative to plastic to qualify for this pillar.

Q: How do I dispose of this item once it has been used?
A: Hi Holly! We hear you - when you're ready to dispose of them, here's what we recommend: With a Compost Pile: If you have a compost pile, feel free to toss your used snack bag right in! We suggest tearing off the zip first to help it break down more quickly. You can also rip the bag up a little—much like you would with cardboard—but that's entirely optional. Without a Compost Pile: No compost pile? No problem at all! Our snack bags are fully compostable by design and meet industry standards for compostability. While composting is the best option for breaking down the material naturally, if you don’t have access to a compost pile, you can simply dispose of the snack bag with your ordinary trash. We appreciate your commitment to sustainability and are here to help if you have any more questions!
