I left it in a small room to see if it helped with overall smell and seeing if the air felt "clean". I've used larger and more effective air purifiers before, so this one just felt like something you'd find at Five Below. It's very cheap feeling and not sure if the filters will be available long term if they discontinue the product. I'd rather have a bigger portable option, especially for smaller spaces that might be dusty like my car or a bathroom.

This portable Conair air purifier looks small but I'm definitely impressed. I chose to place the purifier on my nightstand. I have allergy issues and always wake up with puffy eyes and sneeze throughout the night. The machine isn't quiet but it's also not noisy. I would describe it as just the right amount of white noise. The first week I didn't really notice any difference but after using it for 3 weeks I can honestly say that I feel like it really is making the air in our bedroom fresher. I feel like I'm sneezing a lot less and my eyes are definitely less puffy. If you are on the fence about buying an air purifier for a small space I say you need to go ahead and give this this gadget a try!

It is slightly elegant, with gracefully curved lines and an off-white color scheme that will fit any decor. When running it's nearly silent even at the highest speed, and it holds a charge for quite a long time. I'd love to see this design carried over to other air purifiers because the look is completely different than anything else on the market!

That was too loud and not a good idea as it kept me awake. So I tried putting it at the desk while I worked. Again fairly annoying fan sound without any noticeable difference. Maybe it was cleansing the air and I just couldn't notice. Doesn't seem worth the purchase to me.

It promises not to be noisy but it kind of sounds like a muffled blow dryer which is why I gave it 4 stars as if you have it on during a meeting you can hear it over zoom. Great though to clear and purify the air any other time.

One of my children has significant nasal congestion concerns and I thought that it could only improve the smell of that space. It has helped my child breathe better at night and significantly improved the overall air quality of the space. There are several settings. The sound is similar to that of a white noise machine, so it is non-obtrusive.

It's a great size for travel. 3 speeds - Low speed is very quiet. Medium is still fairly quiet, high is pretty loud for a small fan, but if you like to sleep to fan noise, this will do it! I could tell a difference in our tv room after 24 hours. Not sure yet how often the filter will need replaced. I think I'll get another for the bedroom.

It sounds a little noisy or loud, but I can ignore that. It works great to make the smell fresher. This little machine clears the surrounding air quickly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's tiny. It's raised a little from the surface to be able to filter the area. If the setting is on low, it's a whisper quiet. On the other two settings, it's a fan. If you don't mind the white noise, a higher setting will get the circulation going faster. You can have it plugged in while it is operating. The low setting will get you close to the 22-hour battery life without being plugged in. The mid-section will get you at 12 hours of battery life. I used the mid-setting in the bathroom and the low in my bedroom. It seems to neutralize gas (farts) quickly. As a vegan, I can pass a lot of gas. I placed the purifier on my workstation, and I am confident it is working. The gas used to linger for a good 10 minutes. Now, it's gone without notice. I really could have used this pre-COVID. My co-workers would have been thankful. If you have any breathing problems, this will also be an excellent addition to your home to clear up the allergens. My next spot to try this is my vehicle. I wish I had a larger one.

I was so excited thinking it would pick up something but the filter still looks perfect. No dust looking particles or anything. Maybe our air is cleaner than I thought but I have dogs and a cat. It seems to affect him mostly at night. With this air purifier in his bedroom, he is able to be in there throughout the night and breathe cleaner air. He hasn't been bothered at all by the sound. When I received this in the mail I contemplated about where to put it. My husband and I routinely wake up with dry stuffy noses so I thought maybe the bedside table would be a good start. I have been running it for the past three nights and honestly it's made a big difference! When I wake up my nose doesn't feel congested and I feel like I even sleep better with the very subtle white noise it creates. I'll definitely be getting another one to put in the kids room!
