Q: Can you rise the filter off or do you have to buy a new one when needed?

A: To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. Please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter, however. Trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells. Either way, it is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion.

Q: What does the red light mean?

A: The red light on a Core Mini is a reminder light to check the filters and clear any dust buildup. This notification light is based on a timer and does not necessarily mean your filter needs to be changed. With the air purifier plugged in and the fan turned off, press and hold the Control Button for about 5-8 seconds to reset the light.

Q: I see this product has the p65 California warning stating it can have hazardous materials harmful to health. Anyway to know why this warning applies to this purifer? Is there lead in it?

A: A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements, but just that it is possible these chemicals are present. The location of these chemicals may be within the internal components of the unit (such as wiring or circuit boards, if applicable), or other external components such as the packaging.

I really like it. It’s a simple 1, 2, 3, power button press for low, medium, high. My kids and man have even noticed the difference. It’s great to drown out noise but is still fairly quiet. Everything on it is simple and easy for anyone. I can breathe so much better at night with it on. If there is a smell I’m trying to get rid of fast, I will move it over to the direct location and it’s gone within 30 mins. I’m getting my kids one for their rooms. It’s a great price too. I’ve never had an air purifier before so I cannot compare to other brands or larger purifiers for larger room scale.

I just moved into a new apartment with a neighbor who smokes and my apartment smelled and was so stuffy. After an hour of this air purifier being on it felt SO much better and it smells good in here- I didn’t add any essential oils just the general smell is good. It’s funny because the hallway stinks and as soon as I enter my apartment it is like an oasis of clean air. I never leave reviews either so I am truly impressed!

I have been running this purifier 24/7 and it hasn't helped with odors. Origin of this odor is my roommate's "used to be a smoker" furniture. I've bought this brand in the past and it has done wonders in my cat's litterbox room. Not this model though. At least the color is cute.

Our dog sleeps in our bedroom and we started noticing it smelled bad from pet dander. It was a constant smell and I couldn’t get rid of it no matter what I tried. I decided to try an air purifier. This was the least expensive one at Target and figured if it didn’t work, I would just take it back. I turned it on and in less than a day, it took the smell and must out of the room completely! I turned it on for a little bit the second day and it’s improved the air even more. I am very impressed and thankful that this works so well. It looks very sleek. The first fan setting is very quiet all the way up to the third that is louder, but a calming white noise type of sound. I’m excited to use these in other bedrooms!

I got this at the store in a frantic search to improve the air quality of my room after it became insufferable. I was waiting to buy another air purifier from Target, which I managed to get a day or two later, but needed something right away. This little purifier was on sale and I figured why not use it in the meantime. I got it going and when I came back a few hours later the room was basically livable again lol. It had made a huge difference in the air quality. The slot for essential oils was a nice surprise, too. I've passed it on to my mom (since I got the other one I wanted) and she's enjoying the essential oil feature now. Things I'm not thrilled about: - The essential oils go on special pads that you have to purchase (my other air purifier lets me use a cotton ball). - Do not use in extremely humid places, like a steamy bathroom (but maybe that’s just an air purifier thing) because the filter absorbs the humidity.
