Q: Can you rise the filter off or do you have to buy a new one when needed?

A: To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. Please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter, however. Trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells. Either way, it is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion.

For best results, we recommend minimizing the source of the smell as best as possible first. The air must also pass through the filters a few times.

A: The red light on a Core Mini is a reminder light to check the filters and clear any dust buildup. This notification light is based on a timer and does not necessarily mean your filter needs to be changed. With the air purifier plugged in and the fan turned off, press and hold the Control Button for about 5-8 seconds to reset the light.

I am completely amazed by this little guy! It sits in am awkward nook in my kitchen where it magically makes any and every icky kitchen/cooking smell disappear. I can't believe something so small and simple does the job this well! The essential oil feature is a fantastic bonus because it only takes 1 drop to give scent to the whole room. It is quieter than I expected, too. You can hardly even hear the first setting, and the highest level just sounds like a very gentle fan. It's a nice amount of white noise for a small space. I think this was probably one of my best purchases of all of 2024, and I absolutely plan to buy several more of these when they go on sale again. I'd love to have one of these tucked away in every room of my house because my home has never been fresher!!!!

I really like it. It’s a simple 1, 2, 3, power button press for low, medium, high. My kids and man have even noticed the difference. It’s great to drown out noise but is still fairly quiet. Everything on it is simple and easy for anyone. I can breathe so much better at night with it on. If there is a smell I’m trying to get rid of fast, I will move it over to the direct location and it’s gone within 30 mins. I’m getting my kids one for their rooms. It’s a great price too. I’ve never had an air purifier before so I cannot compare to other brands or larger purifiers for larger room scale.

I just moved into a new apartment with a neighbor who smokes and my apartment smelled and was so stuffy. After an hour of this air purifier being on it felt SO much better and it smells good in here- I didn’t add any essential oils just the general smell is good. It’s funny because the hallway stinks and as soon as I enter my apartment it is like an oasis of clean air. I never leave reviews either so I am truly impressed!

Our dog sleeps in our bedroom and we started noticing it smelled bad from pet dander. It was a constant smell and I couldn’t get rid of it no matter what I tried. I decided to try an air purifier. This was the least expensive one at Target and figured if it didn’t work, I would just take it back. I turned it on and in less than a day, it took the smell and must out of the room completely! I turned it on for a little bit the second day and it’s improved the air even more. I am very impressed and thankful that this works so well. It looks very sleek. The first fan setting is very quiet all the way up to the third that is louder, but a calming white noise type of sound. I’m excited to use these in other bedrooms!

The filter or machine stinks. The smell it’s blowing out is horrible. I was wondering why my room was having a new smell and it’s from that. Ive used it twice and noticed the new smell both times.
