Cookeez Makery will amaze you and your child when they bake a surprise plush best friend. As they open the oven door, they will discover their own warm and scented interactive plush friend in the shape of a yummy smelling baked treat. The Cookeez Makery Hello Kitty® and Friends Oven comes with everything children need to mix and make a surprise bake. When they first open the oven door, they will find a recipe box and a recipe card that tells them which friend they will bake. There's a chance of making a Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll or My Melody. Let's get cooking! First, they mix the ingredients to create a dough ball. Then, using the dough mould and included tools, they can add adorable features such as eyes and more. It's so easy! Then, pop it in the oven and shut the door. In 90 seconds, kids will hear a "ding". It's time to open the oven and meet a new friend. Wow! We gave this as a 6th bday gift and the girl loved it! Please note that I can be reused for fun! Do not throw away the oven. There is a heart mode for play and an oven mode to reuse it. One of the guests that saw the gift asked me if I could give one to her on her bday. 😍

I really thought we were going to make the plushie but it's a little mold you make still cute. The plushie isn't really that scented like it says though........ so I can't tell you the scent cause I don't smell one ..............

Instructions were clear and I think it’s a cute way to engage with your kid but the mixing process can get a little messy. The scent for the specific character we had is pleasant and the scent lasts for a long time.
Remove all yellow pieces first!

I guessed at how much water and was wrong. Remove all the yellow pieces before handing ot to the kid. 4 bottom pieces and one inside piece. The timer and bell only worked one time. My daughter thought it was magic even though I didn’t remove the bottom yellow pieces all the way at first. We still play with it happily, even with those three flaws. However we don’t bother with the dough because the outer part is cardboard and too much water made the dough gooey and impossible to clean off. We use the mold as pretend dough. Packaging is durable and I think this is safe to play with for the age advertised. The plushy is cute. We got the hello kitty bread

The directions really helped build the anticipation of what we would create in the oven. I did this with my granddaughter, who is 9 years old, but I think it would be more fun and appropriate for 5 to 7 years old. She got My Melody that smells like strawberry shortcake dolls. She loved doing it all but was like grandma that stuff i mixed didn't turn into this toy, but I love it anyways.Lol. her younger siblings kept taking her toy at home, and her baby brother was playing with the stove that she gave him when she got home. It is a great idea, but I would say more as a project for younger kids as a mommy and me project to do together.

The oven makes ticking noise and dings when it’s done baking like a real oven. She was very surprised with cinnamoroll magically appearing in the oven. When the toy came out it was warm and smells like cinnamon roll. Because she made the toy she’s been playing with it all day and took it to bed too I think she’s treasuring it more because she made it herself. She also love putting her other toys in the oven and “ baking “ it .

At first I thought it was a real oven and we were baking something, then I realized it wasn’t and we were making a plushie out of dough. I was like, how is that possible? But apparently the dough was literally for nothing. I was worried because I couldn’t get the dough to be perfectly round. I was trying to help my daughter get it right because I thought it was going to dry up. But in the end I realized that was just for “play” and the real plushie comes out after you put the dough in the oven. I mean, that’s fun the first time. But I just found the whole process of making the dough and putting it in the mold to be a waste of time lol why not have something she can make like that over and over? Instead of the one time? Just my opinion. Other than that it was cute. I love the oven. And the plushie smells so good! It also says stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven set is kind of a fun blind box where you don’t know which plushie will come out of the oven: Hello Kitty, My Melody, or Cinnamoroll. Each one has different scent too. Your kid will get to mix the powder and water to make the dough, shape it using the provided mold, & then place it in the oven. Turn the oven on and just wait for the sound. Surprise!! Let your kid open and see what she gets! My niece is a fan of Hello Kitty and friends. She was thrilled when I gave her this set. Cant wait to play with her this weekend.

My kids thoroughly enjoy making the dough and shaping it up. The sounds and button features worked perfectly, and pop came out hello kitty that even talks. My kids wanted to play with it over and over again, and the great thing is you can! But having to remove the dough makes it a little less magical, and the timer noises seemed to stop working after first use. I'm sure my kiddos will find other uses for the oven, but you do get to keep the stuffy forever. I wish it didn't feel like such a one-time use type thing, which it isn't, but it immediately becomes less appealing after first use. Just because the dough is already made and it's just the same stuffy over and over again. Overall, it is such a fun concept, and even I, as an adult, had a lot of fun watching it work.

However, the interactive portion of this, creating Hello Kitty, turning on the oven, getting the plush, etc… blew us all away! My kids think it’s the coolest thing ever. They’ve been reusing the oven to “bake” their other plush toys now too (they just put them in and take them out. Pretty sure they’ll both be adding more of these to their Christmas list. Also, the scent and warmth after they come out is so cool. It’s just a really neat concept.

It’s made for kids that are ages five and above but honestly my even year old daughter thinks it’s the coolest and had the most fun with it. It’s definitely something that you’re using your brain and effort to make. It comes with all of the things you need to make it. When you first open the oven door it gives you a card that tells you what friend your baking. Then you mix all the ingredients to make a ball of dough. You can add features to it before baking. Once you’re done you close it in the oven and bake! After ninety seconds you’ll hear the oven beep and then theirs your friend!!
