As someone who thoroughly researches all of my products before buying (and one way I do that is reading reviews online)- so I love giving information for other parents doing the same! As a non-gamer with a son very into gaming, I'm not up to par on gaming accessories, headphones included. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my first impression of the headset was that it may not arrive due to shipping obstacles, but it did and I instantly knew the HS35 Carbon headset was IT. Although less than impressive packaging, the headset spoke for itself in appearance and lists clearly it's compatibility to other devices. My son wants clear sound and I want a peaceful home so this is impacting the way we game in a positive way all around! The headset has a lightweight construction and memory foam ear pads, an ode to comfort without weighing you down. The build, sound, and microphone quality are impressive with on-ear audio control, custom tuned audio drivers and flip to mute functions for total control and undeniably a favorite feature. As is the sizing- great for young and more experienced gamers alike. Whether an experienced gamer looking to take audio to the next level or a new gamer, the HS35 Carbon is sure to deliver what you've been searching for.

My son is getting into gaming and has been asking for a headset so he can talk to his friends while he plays. I've been wanting one so his younger brothers aren't exposed to the games they aren't old enough for. My son was so excited to see the Corsair HS35 Carbon headset and tried it out right away. This headset is lightweight and extremely comfortable on the ears and head. He can game for hours and not complain about the feel or fit of the headsets and it feels good on my ears as well. The sound is clear and I was impressed that it actually blocked ambient sound from outside of the game. We struggled to get the microphone to work, so I can't speak to the microphone's use. I'm not sure if it's a setting in the game that made it not work or if it's an issue with the headset. I love that there is a mute button on the side of the headset. It is very easy to adjust the volume on the headset and it didn't seem too loud or quiet while in use. One negative is that it is a corded headset, so we can only play our Switch as a handheld device while using this headset. However, the privacy the headset affords and the comfort of the headset are our favorite features and make them worth using! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this gaming headset.

I received this classic black gaming headset from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall it’s a decent headset. The design is simple, yet functional. It’s lightweight, and the extra padding makes it comfortable to wear. Breathable so I don’t sweat. The sound and microphone are decent. The sound can be easily adjusted with the on-ear volume controls. Has a quick mute button. Thats probably one of my favorite quick action favorite feature not available on other headsets.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this gaming headset. The headset includes high quality speakers that fit over the ear to block surrounding noise. There is a lot of memory foam to try to keep the headset more comfortable for longer. This does make it difficult to wear the headset over one ear, instead of both, if you needed more surrounding awareness. The microphone is quiet and lacks noise canceling features, which made multiplayer experiences less enjoyable. The on-ear volume and mute controls felt clunky and got bumped often. The headset plugs into an audio jack rather than being USB, which can be a pro or a con depending on your setup. Overall they are great entry level headphones, but leave at lot the be desired as a headset.

I’ve only used a few times so I cannot speak to the longevity of this headset, but so far I’ve been pleased with its performance. The sound quality is good - I can hear all parts of the game and music, when used for each. It has a high volume capacity and excellent background sound reduction quality. The memory foam ear pads were comfortable and completely covered my ears. I especially like the comfortability of the ear pads and headset. Another feature I enjoy is the ability to turn the mic on and off with the ease of a button. The mic itself feels sturdy and is flexible for movement/placement. I did remove a star because the microphone is incredibly sensitive. My kids were being loud in the background (another room) and it came through the microphone loud and clear. So though I like how well the mic works (seriously excellent quality), I didn’t like how people could hear my breathing. Overall, I really like the headset and would recommend. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest review.

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my review. To start, this product appeared very high quality right out of the packaging. The memory foam padding on the earpads was very nice and comfortable. I have noticed in the past that headsets and headphones have been very uncomfortable and cause pain in my ears with prolonged use — this has not been the case with this product. As for the sound quality, I did struggle a little bit with the adapter pieces to make it usable on the PC. The connection did not seem to be great initially and required some adjustment in order for the sound to play in both ears. Once I was able to get it working, the sound was good. I will say that I didn’t care for the split adapter piece, but I am sure this is a requirement for the product to work across multiple game systems and the computer. Perhaps some adjustment to the way these pieces link up would be a benefit. The microphone piece is removable which is a nice quality on one hand, but on the other hand, also caused some problems when trying to use it. My computer did register the microphone as a device but did not work after multiple attempts. Eventually, I ended up disconnecting the microphone from the headset and reattaching it which finally triggered it to work. The microphone quality is very clear and much better than what I have been using previously. I do appreciate that this product can be used across games systems including the PC and that it can be used with or without the microphone. I think the versatility is a huge bonus, but it definitely has a few kinks that still need to be worked out to make it a five star product. My 10 year old son is really enjoying it and has been playing games online and recording himself doing commentary for his YouTube channel. This headset has definitely made things a lot easier for him as well as made things a lot quieter in our home. I would say it is a product worth buying but be advised that you may encounter a few bumps in the road at times due to the way the pieces connect to each other.

He says that they are very comfortable to use for long periods of time. They also are very well made and sturdy for traveling back and forth to school (he wears them during computer time).

I've enjoyed my experience with this headset. It's easily adjustable and doesn't slip around on my head as I move, and the memory foam pads hold it in place comfortably enough to wear for hours. I've used this headset with multiple devices (both my phone and multiple computers), and it worked well with all of them. The included splitter let me plug into the separate headphone and mic jacks on my gaming computer. The excellent bass response made for an enjoyable listening experience when I fired up my music, and the mic worked fine during several hours of calls across multiple chat applications. The bass response also made the sound in my games feel more immersive. The headset-mounted mute button was nice for quickly muting myself regardless of which device or app I was using, and I was pleasantly surprised that despite all the comfy padding, I could still hear well enough while wearing these to carry on a conversation with somebody next to me. I'm glad the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me these, since I figure this headset will be my go-to for both work and fun.

Loved this headset. Sound quality was top notch. It was so light, and held firm to my head without squishing it, even through a few rough losses and erm...tantrums LOL. I have multiple piercings on my ears and the foam pads molded around them and didn't tug, pinch, or crush them. Headsets can become comfortable because of this, but not this set. All around fantastic for me. *I received this product to trial from Stellar Testing Panels.

The highlight of this headset is how comfortable it is, especially the ears. They're very padded, which feels nice and keeps outside noise at bay. I have a big head and these fit perfectly. I used this on a couple gaming systems (mostly my Switch) and even plugged them into my computer for a work call. The sound quality isn't amazing but was better than I was expecting considering the price. I received these as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel

We received these as part of the Stellar testing panel, and my son loves this headset. They block out surrounding noises enough that he can focus without being distracted, but not feel totally checked out. They are comfortable to have on for long periods of time thanks to the memory foam and lightweight design. They are also good looking. They have become his go to headset for gaming and video calls as well.

I was so excited to get these in! We just got a PS5, and I needed headphones that were compatible. This headset is comfortable to wear, and really lightweight. The foam pads are great, and I can still wear my earrings without feeling like my ears are being squeezed. And I love that it has a detachable microphone. The sound quality is impressive, but it is not noise cancelling. I don’t mind that, because I like to still be able to hear what’s going on around me. Overall, this is a great headset for the average gamer. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this gaming headset!

Good Headset! I got these by participating in the Stellar Product Testing Panel and are is definitely a headset I'd be happy to purchase. They very comfortable. The sound quality was surprisingly good, it was super full with quality high and low ends. The microphone sat at a good placement. Overall, a solid headset. For $50, you can't go wrong!

This is a great headset! I’m impressed with the sound quality, which is super crisp and clear, but I’m also loving the noise cancelling aspect so things like the dog barking, etc, doesn’t affect the quality of sound. It’s super lightweight and comfortable, really felt like the memory foam molded to my ears. I don’t feel like it’s too tight or loose, which might have given me headaches, so that’s a relief! The attached microphone is super handy because if I don’t need it, I can just unplug it then it’s not in the way, however the quality of sound with the microphone is incredible! I had my husband try these out, and he was impressed not only with the sound quality but also with the comfort. He was able to adjust it easily for his head/ears and then I could easily adjust for mine. The on ear volume adjuster is super handy too! My favorite feature has to be the noise cancelling effects, so I don’t have to worry about anyone else hearing everything! I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review.

The Corsair HS35 Carbon is my new go-to headset for various reasons: whether I’m playing games, listening to a meditation or listening to music, high quality sounds make these experiences so much better. The sound quality on the headset as well as the microphone is very impressive. This headset beats my old $10 one by a million. I tested out the audio with some of the games I play and was pleasantly surprised. I also tested songs from different music genres and the audio quality is superb even across multiple devices. I can hear all the musical instruments clearly and the bass sounds amazing, which is an added bonus. The HS35 Carbon is reinforced with a metal band and an overall very strong, yet lightweight construction, while the memory foam ear pads and padding on the headband allow for comfort while gaming. Comfort and sound quality are my favorite features. The only con is that it reduces ambient noise. I realize this is a feature most people look for, but I personally find it important to be able to hear what’s going on in my environment. Overall, I’m very happy with these headphones! I received this headset from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would like to thank them so much for the opportunity to test these excellent headphones!

I received the HS35 Carbon headphones from the Stellar Product Testing panel but the opinions are all my own. The headphones are really lightweight and very comfy. We tried them on all different-sized heads and ears and everyone agreed on that fact. They were easy to wear for a longer period comfort-wise. We were stoked that they are cross-platform so we could try them on multiple consoles. The cord is a little annoying but not awful. Initially, we tried them on the XBOX. When we tried to use the headphones on the XBOX One we had to plug the headphones into the TV instead of the XBOX due to where the XBOX is located and set up and therefore the sound from the XBOX was not great. You could hear background sound, the sound coming into the headphones was dimmed and more annoying than anything. So then we tried them on the Switch to compare and it was a whole different experience. The sound quality on the switch was amazing. When you can plug the headphones directly into the console they work well. The headphones block out outside sound so when you are playing you don’t hear outside noise. The communication is clear when using the microphone. So my suggestion is to make sure you can plug the headphones directly into the console, or better yet get wireless ones. We don’t do much online play so there isn’t a great need for that in our household, but overall they are great entry-level headphones.

I have always hated headsets because they were uncomfortable. It couldnt be further from the truth with these! The sound quality is great, and even when I use them outside, others report that they don't hear any environmental sounds. I do wish they had bluetooth capapbilities. I do most of my gaming on my phone, but my phone doesnt have an audio port. I even started using these for work calls. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I have been looking for a updated headset for my oldest son, as he has grown way out of the cheap kiddie headphones he’s been using for gaming/ tablet use. Luckily, I was given the opportunity to try this gaming headset as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. What we like (the whole family has tried these out!): lightweight, but a comfortable SECURE fit on everyones head - my husbands all the way down to my four year old who also wears glasses. You can easily wear these for a few hours and *almost* forget they are on your head - no squished or sweaty ears! The sound quality is clear, no static. My kids figured out all the volume controls in about thirty seconds, but I found them a bit awkward. Appreciate the detachable microphone, since it’s not needed for my youngest.
