This ice maker is a piece of garbage after 5 months it began leaking out bottom making grinding noises and then big black pieces of plastic came out with ice in my glass! It is unsafe to operate and neither target or costway will stand behind it! Very frustrating upsetting!

Initial impressions are amazing. The ice is wonderful love that it dispenses without having to use a scoop. Only downside is it only fills from the back of the unit making it hard to find a good location to put it.

Ice maker came pretty fast. Opened the box, looked like this unit was an “opened box” item that had been returned before. I know this shipped from Costway and not Target. Had no idea who to complain to. Unit has a small dent on side and the top was popped loose, and the drip tray was inside of a convenience store “thank you” bag. I tried to get ahold of Target, but only option was to return it. Logistically seemed more trouble than it’s worth. I fixed the top by removing and reinstalling. Power it up, works great. I will say it runs a good bit (when you get ice, it will run for 20-30 minutes to replenish. But works ok. Love the ice quality and dispensing so my kids dirty hands no longer get inside. Highly recommend the ice maker. Costway’s policy of shipping an open box item not so much.

I’m in love. I have been searching for an ice maker for a year or more and finally saw this model. I love the fact it dispense ice when you pull on the lever. The ice is perfect for chewing! It will SAVE me money because I will not have to pay for more broken teeth. Is it loud, yes, kind of. I don’t have a frame of reference to know if it’s louder than others but you do hear it working. Any noise is well worth it. One note: the height is higher than the specs state. Actual height is 16.5” which is the height of my countertop. I have to jam it under the shelf.
