This Frigidaire Nugget Ice Maker allows you to enjoy chewable nugget ice in your own home. Unique soft, yet crunchy nuggets that float in your favorite beverage. Produces up to 44lbs of ice in a day and within 15 minutes to first nugget of ice. Intelligent control panel - you can tap on the operation area to achieve its ice-making function. Designed with convenient drawer access and a viewing window that lets everyone see the good ice that awaits. The perfect size for any countertop. No water hookup required, just plug into any 115v grounded (standard)electrical outlet and fill the reservoir with water. Holds up to 3lbs in the ice basket. Important: This ice maker is designed to produce ice, not store it. The unit does not keep ice frozen once it is made. To prevent melting, transfer the ice to your freezer promptly after it is produced. Self-cleaning function makes for fresh-tasting ice every time. Sleek matte finish and with ice scoop included. Had for about a year and is already breaking down. When filling up the ice tank it takes about 1 hour for all the water to come out the bottom and soak everything on the counter. Very very very loud... again it's been about a year.

Do not buy this. It breaks very fast. I’m on my second machine already. Both stopped working after a couple of months of regular cleaning and care. Makes a loud screeching sound and stoped making ice. Definitely would NOT recommend at all.

I should’ve checked the reviews before getting two of these, one as a gift and one for myself. Inside plastic piece broke after 5-6 months of use with proper care. Luckily bought the protection with All State who refunded me, Frigidaire was no help, told me they weren’t experts on their own product and sent me to another company, who was no help either.

It’s too loud. Spend a bit extra and get the GE opal. My sister got the GE and I thought, is this even on?! I had a guest over and they asked what that noise was, I’m like oh it’s my ice maker. Makes ice quick, but not worth the noise it produces.

Stopped working after 9mo. It made a lot of noise then eventually pieces of plastic gear started shred and ended up in the ice container. It also started to leave black stains in the water reservoir due to the shredding of the black gears. Gross. Did want to deal with the warranty after reading the reviews. Very disappointed.
