Out of the package the hoop seemed fine but after a handful of uses the metal holding the backboard had started to bend. We figured out that this was from the ball hitting the hoop as it goes in - the more you score, the worse it bends. Not worth the time putting it together and not worth the money

The assembly took about an hour with the two boys help. The height adjustment is easy, the hoop is solid, we use the sand filled up the base.
