Love this coffee, I prefer a bright lighter roast in my coffee. I serve this to guests, and they all exclaim how much they like it. I make it strong for my dark roast friends. The problem I have with it is that it's not always the freshest batch available on a Target shelf. Make sure to check the roast date. Some folks complained about this coffee in other reviews. I'm wondering if it just isn't their flavor profile or it wasnt a fresh roast and had been sitting on a target shelf for 4 months!

Coffee isn’t bad and it was worth a try. I would buy them again except the packaging ripped in half on me and all the coffee beans ended up on the counter/floor. So I had to throw a large amount away. Horrible packaging and okay coffee. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s your last option or on a good sale.

Not bad, but not quite what I was looking for. I like the dark beans that are somewhat 'oily' to touch and the dark choclate flavor. This did not have much aroma, not that deep richness flavor I like, based on how I prefer Sumatra Mandeling beans. I just didn't get too excited bout this one. I guess I prefer single-origin from Sumatra or Kenya better.

This coffee is not good. I do not recommend. The beans don’t even look as good as the normal brand I buy. Super dry.

What a great coffee! I often brew up for my senior Leaders and junior Sailors as a Chaplain. Counter Culture has become a National brand but retained its quality and freshness. The taste is delicious , smooth and full.

I had high hopes for this coffee, but it is way too bright and citrusie for me. I don't get the nutty Carmel that is advertised. I am using a Profitec pro 500 to pull my shots. I even tried just brewing up a batch and it was the same flavor. Just not for me.

Just bought this coffee and I am not a fan. I struggle to brew a nice cup of espresso and the flavor is typically bad. I have gone through half my bag trying to find the right grind and brew set up and nothing works.

    No longer Chocolately OR Nutty...

I used to love Big Trouble, as it had the nutty, chocolately flavor they advertised. Since about a year ago, they changed the blend and now it has a more tangy, sour taste. So disappointed as it was my favorite coffee. Ah well, now I have to search for a new favorite. Please change it back ppl.....

Now this bag of whole bean coffee has been in the freezer from before the covid-19 pandemic broke out. And let me tell you how unbelievably delicious it it!!! I can't believe goodness was waiting for me all that time😋☕️
