Cuisinart 4 Slice Toaster - White - CPT-142P1: 1800W, Defrost & Reheat, Automatic Shut-Off, Nonslip Base, Plastic Material

We replaced our old for-slice toaster with this Cuisinart and our very happy with it. The settings provide easy using and we are very pleased with the weight of this appliance, a big help to us older folks.

I’ve been using this toaster for about 2 months and it works good. I had an old cuisenart and I liked it, so when one of the elements failed I looked for a new toaster. What I really liked about the old toaster was the ability to raise the bread to remove the toast when done. I also used the bagel button a lot. The new toaster has a better button, that is easier to use than the old recessed button. This is an easier to use feature. The cancel feature is also great.

I bought this toaster in response to an ad I saw in the HuffPost. We had a more expensive brand name toaster, but it was disappointing. The bread would come out only toasted on one side. It was the second toaster in a row we had that problem with. Very annoying. This toaster was half the price and it toasts bread and bagels perfectly. It will also thaw or rewarm. It really is excellent.

Replaced the exact model, or it at least looks like it.

I love my new toaster!! It has great features and heats up fast. I did a bagel in it and used the bagel option. It popped up to perfection.

I'm very happy with my new toaster! I like the off white color and the appearance.It has the features I want, like wide enough slots for a half bagel or thick slice of homemade bread, and a cancel button. It toasts quickly. Just what I wanted!

Toaster works great love using it for bagels and English muffins toasted it perfectly

The compact Cuisinart toaster is the perfect size for my crowded kitchen counter. It's design makes it very easy to clean out crumbs. There are all the features I need on a toaster. My only disappointments are that even on the highest(darkest) setting, my English Muffins do not get crispy enough so I have to put them down for some additional time and watch them so they don't burn.

I like the toaster but one side doesn't toast the same as the other side. It's a lot lighter on one side than the other.

Great toaster. Very happy with it. Works well for toasting bread, bagels or frozen items such as toaster strudels.

As noted in other reviews, it toasts well for both bread and bagels. The one issue is what's been mentioned before - the setting dial does not have detents or other notches to hold the darkness setting, thus it can be unintentionally moved and the toast comes out too light or too dark. This should be improved and then it would earn 5 stars.

I don’t feel this particular toaster has the quality of the previous one we owned same brand just purchased a few years ago

Good basic toaster for the money. Does not always toast evenly so if you are particular you may have to rotate your item.

I love my new Cruisant 4 slice toaster. I have always had a Cruisant and that is why I chose another.

The Best Toaster - Cuisinart!! I had a two slice Cuisinart Toaster for eons and it finally burnt out. The 4-slice toaster is the other best choice I made! It’s just a great appliance and company!

This toaster is a replacement from the same model, except about 10 years later. In comparison, my old toaster was so much nicer. This new one has "floppy" handles to push down. They seem to tilt a bit when pushing them down. The knob to adjust the darkness of the toast is terrible. You can set it and if the piece of bread you're putting in the toaster gently knocks the knob, it will move the knob. My old toaster had a very stable knob. And for some reason, this toaster is about 1/2 inch larger than my old toaster. Why? Bigger is not better when you need the counter space. It still holds the same amount of toast. I do like that white was one of the color choices. It makes it easier to see any dirt marks.

Nice toaster, one side toasts well, the other requires an additional time

We returned this toaster because it only toasted the bread on one side. One side would be beautiful brown, the other would only have some brown stripes on it. Not what I would expect from Cuisinart products

Attractive toaster. Love the bagel feature. The bottom of the toast or bagel gets crisper than the rest. Hotter in the bottom?

I typically have to put the items down 2 times in spite of using a higher number.
