A: If no one has said anything if probably because it does. I’m pretty sure for the price is just pure plastic inside.

The coffee is good. We are using the grinder feature. It is unbearably loud, with a high pitched sound. This is our second one, having replaced the first for the same reason. We are going to use only ground coffee in the future.

great improvement over old design - much more substantial - this is at least the 5th one we have had over many - so it must be good for us to keep buying them over the years - great customer service - only suggestion would be to make the grinder a little larger, so it can easy handle 12 scoops of beans (it does struggle a little with 12), so we only brew 10 cups

I was looking forward to using this coffee maker and to a really good cup of coffee. It really looks good on our kitchen counter. Unfortunately, it does not make a good cup of coffee. It is too messy to use, except if you use a K-cup, while using the included K-cup like ground bean holder. I could never get it to work so that the grounds did not spill over when removing the holder from under the grinder and the later, after I made a single cup of very mediocre, while removing it from the brewing side holder. I found that while using this coffee maker it was messy and troublesome and the final product was never strong enough, no way to make it stronger or weaker, or hot enough, no way to make the water hotter. I loved the way it looked but did not like how it functioned.

Please save yourself the headache. The grinder doesn't thoroughly grind the beans. The lid to the carafe is not easy to take off or attach. Worst though, is the button to open the area in which you place the beans or ground coffee becomes depressed and opens at random - while the machine is brewing! Made a mess when it opened while brewing; I had to stand at machine and hold it closed. Finally returned when it flung open while grinding. A total mess! I wish I HAD taken a picture to post. Just awful and really disappointing. Save the headache and skip this purchase.

This is my 4th Cuisinart Auto Grind & Brew. I obviously like them or i would not have purchased another. I’m giving this a 4-star review for two reasons: if you pour quickly, the pot drips … A LOT. You must pour slowly. Secondly, while this model is easier to clean the inside of the machine than previous models, the filter basket with its hinged top is more difficult to clean. It makes delicious drip coffee, it’s very easy to setup and brew your coffee. Apparently this is now a discontinued model. When i bought this, there was no indication it was discontinued.

Worst coffee maker. So loud. Grinder continues to grind for at least another minute with no beans. Leaks. Broken when it arrived, the side panel near the open basked button, was not attached. Gave it a one star rating because it does stay hot after brewing. Returning and will not be replacing with another Cusinart.

Not a good buy, Broken on arrival where the button to open the coffee basket is, Grinder continues to grind without beans for over a minute, Leaks where the part that connects where coffee drips from to the coffee carafe which then leaks all over the counter, Gave it one star because the coffee does stay hot, Return to where I purchased from and will not be replacing this with another Cusinart.
Dont buy this. Not worth the money.

I had my last grind and brew for about three years. I loved it but when it broke I ordered this one and it is still great, however, I wish you could increase the heat intensity and I am not loving the one piece filter bin. Other than those two issues, I use it every day and I am happy I was able to find another one without it costing an arm and a leg.

I have found the machine easy to use, when all the parts are assembled correctly. The grinder/filler aspect was a new feature for me, but I have found it useful. Very satisfied.

My only concern relates to being 80 years of age. I bought the coffee machine thinking it had a stainless steel decanter. My shaking makes glass items vulnerable to breaking. Now I know that I should have purchased your 10 cup machine that comes with the desired decanter. Being on Social Security limits my ability to change out the machine or the glass decanter. My mistake.

This is just one in a series of this model for us. It's been a go-to for many years for excellent performance and reliabililty. We replaced the last one because the feature to extend the warming pooped out and we like to do the four-hour option. Other than that, it was great. Can't remember why we replaced others but we always get another of this model!

It makes good pot of coffee and allows us to enjoy our local fresh roasted coffee beans BUT, cleaning up everytime is a downer. The steam from the pot makes mud in the grinder. Also has an annoying beap when you remove the grinder lid.
