8 cups max

I bought this a month ago and am happy overall but the only way you can make a full 10 cups is to select 8 cups on the grind but fill with 10 cups water in the reservoir. Selecting any more than 8 cups of ground coffee overflows the basket with coffee grounds and you end with grounds all over. Also if you don’t get the pot perfectly positioned under the basket plunger the brew flows over the pot and ends up all over the counter and floor like it did for me.
I love all the features but only good if they work

I have only had this for a couple weeks. I love the grind and brew and all the settings but it only works once in awhile. Called the number for help had me unplug for a few minutes and try it again while they were on the phone and it worked at that particular time but have had several more different issues off and on.I had an older model years back and it worked wonderful. I wanted this one because of the set brew time feature but this only works once in awhile. I am going to have to call again but I am hoping to just return it for a full refund. I really don't feel like playing with it for overtime I want to use it. Very disappointed.

I had the same Cuisinart Coffee maker a few years ago and I love the new model! It is a better model. The coffee is delicious too!
Tragic loss of a lot of money

I was making my third pot of coffee this morning with my Cuisinart burr grind coffee maker paying close attention because it was also my third one of this model. The first two didn't work at all and I had to send them back for replacement. This one worked fine for two times but this morning it ground the appropriate amount of beans, paused and then went into a second grind. I will never buy any Cuisinart product again and I don't want a replacement that I know won't work. It was a lot of wasted money. I have purchased a Black and Decker replacement that I am sure will work just fine.

I bought this coffee maker a month ago to replace a Breville Grind & brew that went south. I knew that did not want to buy another of that same model because it was high maintenance. So far I love my decision because it is very simple to figure out how to make excellent coffee the way you like it. The only thing I do not like is that you must add the amount of water for the amount cups you are brewing every time. Meaning if you fill the 10 cup reservoir and only want to brew 4 cups, this machine is going to grind beans for four cups but drain all of the water in the reservoir.
Warranty workes.

This replacement was for the Burr Grind & Brew Coffee Maker which stopped working a little over a month ago. Since the old unit was still under warranty, we received a replacement. It is working properly and as advertised, and we hope it will serve us for the next few years.
Functional but Disappointing

The steamed water flowing into the grounds container is so forceful that the grounds end up in the brewed coffee. It doe snot matter what level of intensity you choose nor the amount of water you place in the water reservoir. We have had this for several weeks and the results are always the same. We loved our previous 12 cup thermal coffee maker but it was replaced with this 10 cup version.

Like the coffee pot that grinds whole beans, coffee could be hotter when first brewed

Easy to use and makes great coffee. Very convenient - easy to adjust amount and strength of coffee brewed. Great for anyone who prefers to use whole bean coffee. However, it is not convenient to empty the hopper to change the type of coffee to be brewed, so I deducted one star. If you always brew the same type of coffee - no problem!

I'm happy with the coffee maker overall but I wish water temperature is little more hot. Maybe its my personal choice. I like hot coffee lol. Otherwise Burr Grind & Brew is great!!! Looks great on the counter top & always gets freshly ground coffee!!

We bought this for the grind and brew feature, and automatic programming. The problem is that the coffee is light with the strongest setting, which creates a problem. So we end up having to grind extra and brew rather than use the programming feature. Coffee gets cold relatively quickly, but generally acceptable. Easy to clean. Could have a few more buttons to make it more intuitive rather than figuring it out. Overall, for the price it should be a bit more refined.

A few years ago, we switched from a regular coffee maker to cold brew coffee. With regular brew, coffee was too bitter. Unfortunately, cold brew, coffee lacks the richness of coffee that is brewed with boiling water. The next thing I wanted to try, was brewing coffee using beans that I ground myself. The problem was that the coffee grinders were difficult to clean, and not worth the trouble. I came across the Cuisinart coffee maker, and it seemed like the perfect answer. This coffee maker can brew either ground coffee or whole beans. It’s easy to clean and take care of. Now that I am making coffee with beans that I grind myself, the flavor is much more rich and intense. With this coffee maker, all you have to do is fill the hopper with whole beans, put water in the reservoir, and hit the button. I now feel like I am getting the full, rich flavor of coffee. I love my new Cuisinart coffee maker.

I love the freshness the Grind & Brews deliver. This was to replace the 12-cup Grind & Brew that I had for years (the release button on the basket broke). I like some of the new features, but disappointed that the carafe leaks as you're pouring.

Easy tasty fresh coffee. Water filler is in an inconvenient spot but the fresh coffee makes it worth it.

Best coffee pot I’ve had in decades! I consider myself fairly picky when it comes to my coffee makers - and this one checked all my boxes! It’s simple to use - whether I want it to grind fresh beans or use already ground coffee. Simple to keep clean - to fill the water, and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours! My favorite feature is the auto-program! I wake up to an amazing smelling kitchen and a fresh hot pot of coffee! Was a fast/easy set-up too. Couldn’t ask for more!
Could be nicer, but not for us b

I got this coffee maker to upgrsde our current maker. I really wanted something with a built in grinder to eliminate the need to grind my own beans. The machine itself seemed nice and well built, but I found the operation and set up a bit clunky and cumbersome. The grinder is also REALLY LOUD. Like really loud! It kind of defeated the purpose for the way we use our machine. Ended up returning and buying something else.
